yea on the sneak preview of episode 221, they showed naruto in adult form, he was wearing black and orange clothing.

guys u gotta admit, back in the days, between episode 1- 140, naruto pwns everything.

Naruto is an alright series. I don't read the manga, but I follow it enough to know that the fillers were kinda bland. Watched about a year of the fillers then decided that I didn't care and i'd wait till the plot had some meaning. Kinda sad though that the whole 2 years of fillers amounted up to about 6 months in the Naruto Universe.

The truth is though that Naruto, love it or hate it, is the current generation's DBZ series. It was easy to bash DBZ fans then, it's just as easy for folks to bash on Naruto fans now. Best to just pay no heed to those that bash for the sake of bashing and if you enjoy it, well enjoy it. It's at least going to get interesting from this point on.

It's a good anime, I just can't bring myself to catch up on 30 or so episodes I missed, nor can I bring myself to simply skip them (they are all fillers anyways).

Why bash Naruto? Cause it's a widespread anime? Shit, if I created an anime (which by the way would feature women with gigantic knockers) and it became so famous (kinda) and widespread, I'd be pretty proud.

Also, I was watching Ellen's Acres (on cartoon network, comes on weekday mornings...dont bother watching it, it sucks.) the other day, and my lord that show sucks. I mean sure it's a children's show, but come the **** on! The girl imagines her way outta her crap life (lives with her parents in a hotel, which they own. not a major hotel by the way, like a motel six), dreamin' up stuff like penguins that nod her towards her destination and mammoths that don't squish her. Though, I dont see what this has to do with any of this, so I'm sorry.

I already watch new naruto yesterday. It's still kind of slow although they going back to the original story.

Yup, I'm super happy that fillers are done. Finally... Shippuuden! :O Also, Bleach fillers are done. I watched the first 4 non filler eps. It was really good.

Holy shit, I have so much respect for Naruto and yourself. Yeah, calling everyone who posted a *** because they dont like the same show as you is a great way to get everyone to respect you. Your parents must be so proud.

I'll have to admit, the whole "ninja" concept was pretty cool, and the art wasnt half bad either. But EVERYTHING went downhill after the first couple of episodes. The story was weak and flawed and watching it was about as enjoyable as running my nails over a chalkboard over and over again.

I actually find the anime quite appealing.

But I will say this. No anime is "the best". Sure, some may be more popular and have a larger fanbase, but determining which is the best is impossible. Why? Because everyone has their own opinion as to what they like.

How the hell is that possible? Without doubt it is popular, but that doesn't make it the best, you'd have to be some close minded 13 year old to think that Naruto is the best anime around. :-/

Back in like episoid 90 or so when Jiraiya first came into the series they said that he would be training naruto for the next 3 years. People were just to stupid to understand that.
Naruto is very popular because they create the characters so well. It is sorta like Poke'mon. Regardless of what peoiple say, the characters are all made well. If you have undeveloped characters Animes usually do not do well at all.

Lothia is right, alot of these characters are developed well. In the first couple of episodes, I thought Naruto was just gonna be another wannabe ninja/shinobi animes. But, this tops alot of them. I've been watching Japanese Naruto since I was like, 13 (2 years ago), and i've grown to love these characters for their individuality. By far my fave character is Kakashi, just because of his smexyness and pure ownage.


I suggest to anyone who watches Amercian Naruto to just stop now. The voiceovers overally wack. Japanese Naruto is the way to go. ;]
