Agreed, and I don't think the PSP would be able to handle the graphics that well. I'm not dissing the PSP or Sony at all, but the PSP has no where NEAR the specs that the 360 does, and Oblivion has some pretty insane load times on the 360, so who knows. If I had to pick something, I would have to say it's gonna fail...horribly. Sorry, just how I feel.

don't presume that because oblivion for PC was a tremendous succes, it will also be for PSP.
i personally think it will be mediocre to perhaps even bad.
this is exactly what happened with dungeon siege for PSP.
don't expect the same freedom as the X360 / PC version (which is acutally the whole idea of oblivion), it will have a load of restrictions because they don't have the space the make it more open.

They will take down the graphics a huge amount. The graphics of the psp are equal to the PS1 (inbetween I guess 1 and 2). So the graphics won't be as good but they will be nice still. I am interested in how this will work out.

It's going to be a good dungeon crawler, they said it's not really going to be the SAME oblivion.

TES has its own atmosphere and feeling if it isnt the same as TES games then why call it TES?

Who knows, this could come out and be a great game with all of the traditional TES game concepts. But then again, it could also bomb so horribly that only 50,000 copies sell...all depends on the fanbase really. Personally, even if I had a PSP, I still wouldn't get it, and I'm a hardcore Bethsoft fan. -_-

No use in speculating on what will never happen.

Aww Salyne beat me to it.
Yes, its going to be a dungeon crawler because fitting that massive world in to a PSP would be insane
The PSP graphics aren't that ZOMG YAY!
Trust me,my friend has one and they're like a low end PS2.And a UMD diskete couldn't handle 4GB,that is the PC version.

It's on the PSP, so I doubt it will be any good.

ok to most of the people saying that the psp can't handle it......it's not going to be the same exact game as the pc or 360 version....the graphics will of course be tuned down to keep up with the psp and as i've heard it will be a dungeon crawler....and the psp has a few dungeon crawlers so you cant say that a psp cant handle those now lol....and for people saying that psp's graphics arent that good....think about it it's a handheld system of course it won't have gfx like home consoles and atm the psp has the best handheld gfx in the market.

That's all based on speculation, buddy. ;) It depends on the type of graphics style you like, it's not always about how "amazing" the environments look. In fact, some have said that the DS has better graphics because the style appeals too more people, whereas the PSP's style probably doesn't. (wouldn't know)
In my opinion, the PSP and the DS are for fans only. If you're a fan of Sony, you'll like the PSP, but hate the DS; if you're a fan of Nintendo, you'll adore the DS, but despise the PSP. Or, if you're a fan of both, you'll get ridiculed by people because you're "retarded" or a "stupidass."
*ahem* Little off-topic there...but meh. :p

i dont mean by the gfx that theyre games have i mean that the gfx hardware in a psp is top of the line in handheld...if psp made its own version of new super mario bros the gfx would b crispier and it would also be able to handle way more gfx.....a good example would be that new pokemon game for ds......it looks like a well crafted gba game not a ds game....and psp has this game called monster kingdom jewel summoner thats a lot like pokemon and its full 3d and it has tons of monsters you can fight....and it can handle up to like 6 monsters fighting at once...i wanna c a nds do that

It's gonna be great I tell you...PC Version is great too. Is there any online or multiplayer type of this game?

Every gamer's dream but MMORPG's usually work to less real roleplaying and more competition. It's much better to play these single player role playing games the way they are made.

Ahh, don't shoot his hopes down just yet! There's currently a group trying too create a mod that does make Oblivion multiplayer. Last time I saw, they just had modem too modem connections where you can see the other player, but not interact with them at all. That was around three to four months ago, so they may have made progress since then! =D

there hasn't been any major progress look at the update changes

Yeah, but still. Don't get your hopes down just because updates haven't been added. A couple of TBRPG's I play barely update because they do the little minor things while people play, and yet, the game's still fun. I'm betting that they're just working in the background, trying too get the official release done.
