alright i need help looking for a war games, but it has to be either civil war ish or medival ish. it must have massive armies not like warcraft where you build like 10 guys and then fight, no it has to have like total war where you have like 100's and thousands. Now most of you will say "Go get medival total war or rome or w.e like u mentioned" Now then the problem with total war games is that the battles arent, as cool looking as you would see in a movie or something, in total war, the troops are always in a line when they fight, in movies the guys pass through eachother when they charge and everyone is like scattered everywhere and you know. But in total war they dont have that! here ill show this video so you understand what i mean

Now then. I want a game where the battles are how you would see in movies. so far the best battles ive ever seen in a game was black and white 2 and american civil war. if its possible, online offline i dont care, can someone please tell me a game like how i explained above.

scattered galaxy is one of the free war games. It science fiction like thou.
Not many other games are free and medieval, control lots of units.

i don't think your ever gonna find an mmo with as many units as rome total war for the simple reason that it would lag so badly that it would be like watching them fight in slow motion...

haha, i see what you meen about them staying in a line, it's probably made by brits cos we're the only ones in the world dum enough to que for a fight, we do like our ques!

To be honest the war in Cool Rome total war is probably more realistic than the wars in movies. I don't think youll find the kind of wargame your looking for, Battlefield 2 is a war game but its p2p and set in this time period(i think)

Battlefield 2 isn't P2P, it's B2P.
And Rome Total War is probably one of the most boring games I have ever played. Ever.
