Hey guys. I've been reading the forums for quite a bit and finally made an account due to a problem with NeoSteam. I didn't follow any Guides and just went with my gut while creating an account; I've been doing it since like the kBeta stage of GunZ. So I successfully created a User ID for the JP version of NeoSteam. Following a 30 Minute update process, I found myself at a standstill with the client.

I havn't found any thread on here explaining a solution, Or anyone with the same problem. I don't know if I'm searching too fast or skimming over important text...

Anyway, After booting the game, I get stuck a screen with the Following Error Message;
http://img485.imageshack.us/img485/1626/error10057vq1.th.gif (http://img485.imageshack.us/my.php?image=error10057vq1.gif)

If anyone else has run into this error, I'd really be thankful if you could offer me a Solution.

Thanks to anyone who offers me advice; In advanced.

Also, I hope I posted this in the right area. http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j88/Lamork/Emotes/goodboy.gif

Not much to really look at to be honest. A lil text box with japanese stuff then error: 10057. It just happened for no reason at all... And I CANT figure it out!! tried changing language from japanese, to english, back to japanese... ive done different resolutions and windowed/non windowed... wonder if its down for maintenance or something? Even though this topic was old... maybe? I dunno... confused. I wanna jam this game, dammit!

hmmm seems he is/was playing the japanese version. Same exact problem as me. I finally got his image to load. Wish I could fix this... game looks quite entertaining. I think i've had this problem before when I played a while back... dont remember how i fixed it though lol.

I think I got this error the first time I played Neo Steam, but I'm not sure how I fixed it.
It's a connection error, it says the server was not found. I just checked the Hanbit FAQ to see if they have a solution.

First, try using the "file check" option on the patcher. If that doesn't work, re-install the client. Make sure you have enough hard drive space.
Uninstall Neo Steam through Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. After the uninstall procedure is completed, delete the Neo Steam folder and all files. Then, re-download the client and install.

I hope this helps you.

Ahhhh!! Yes that must have been it! I checked files, and then an update patch was applied... musta been down for maintenance ;).

Sure I feel stupid now, but now I'm in game and loving it. I love the speed of the game. The quests are simple enough to do without being able to read a word and you can guess the rest of the stuff (ie shops, items... if its red, you can't use, etc). I think im on the first server, the blue country?? The one in the middle.

Names are Coheed, Kilgannon, and Holton. Give a shout if your online. It would be fun to group up and kill some high level sh!t.
