Yeah, I feel a bit noobish asking but is there a farming MMORPG?

i never thought of that, but a farming MMORPG would be pretty cool, maybe like a harvest moon sorta thing

There was a team making Harvest Moon Online but I think they trashed the project. There is also a BYOND Harvest Moon but BYOND sucks.

why i have alot of fun XD at the lvl12+ dungeon i lvl up and earn 2000 vis evrytime i go back to town :3 so easy to upgrade stuffs XDalmost so easy to get it highest that i wanna quit -_-"

The farming part doesn't really add that much to the fun, it was the killing. Well anyways I think there are no "good" farming mmorpgs which is sad. Harvest Moon is a classic. Perhaps the project wasn't trashed? They had a forum.

Voyage Century Online has the profession farming. You need seeds and a trowel and it takes 30 real life minutes for your crops to be ready to be harvested.

It would be nice to have such a game, but I don't know of any. I think Mabinogi might have a little farming in it.

I might be remembering incorrectly but Wurm Online is pretty much all farming, crafting, producing etc.
I can't run it at a decent enough speed to check it out, but ya can give it a look.

Ah,I remember how much time I spent on Harvest Moon,I loved this game.I think an online mode for a console HM would be sweet,you could trade seeds whit other players.

ashen empires has an ok farming system, the game's only free till level 8 though.

Yep, Its mostly about crafting farming and stuff. Played it for months in the beta but it went to p2p with a limited free account which caused me to stop playing.

Tho unfortunately farming is not the main theme of the game. So its not as detailed as harvest moon or something. In short its, get/buy seed -> turn the grassy tile to dirt tile with a shovel -> plant the seed -> 1st day : farm the field to remove weed and stuff -> 2nd day : farm the field again -> 3rd day : farm the field again -> keep on farming everyday until the field turns gold then harvest. The quality depends on your farming skill and if you farm it and remove the weed diligently. :/

quite a ok range for farm seed, ranging from pumpkin to cotton (for cloth) to wemp (for rope and catapult) etc etc. Tho like I said the game main theme is not farming so the farming in Wurm Online is not that great.
