I dare anybody... IN the world... If you can turn Hearts of Iron 2 into a crazy graphics and non laggy game... I will love you, kiss, do anything that shows love to u... Seriously... Those types of games are going to come out like... wat 2020?

I was always thinking will there ever be a game like a virtual reality world where it feels like it's actually real. Any kind of game where you see and feel like its real. I've always thought fighting in medieval times to fighting in Iraq in a virtual reality world would be something that won't come for a long time... ?

Even though i think games, are pretty cool, and I like how they are getting more advanced, I don't really wanna see a lot of virtual reality stuff because there is something better than that its called "reality". Like virtual reality basketball or snowboarding would be so stupid, because you can do that in real life, and it would keep you healthy if you did it in real life. If you wanna shooting type reality than im not saying go buy some guns and shoot your buddies with it, but go paintballing or something. if they come up with virtual reality it might be bad for us, it would make people lazy. But don't get me wrong i still think games are cool and stuff, and maybe a little bit of virtual reality game would be cool, just not too much where people start living their lives virtually. and some already do, like people who play SecondLife, There, or The Sims Online all day long everyday...

Seriously... U see Warrock here.. Theres a limit of players for wat 32 players... Imagine 200 units with Sheppards and Infantry with MP40's... All marching along a road... And suddenley theres a ambush. If that can happen during Mulitplayer play... Than the game would be awesome...

have you ever heard of 'engines'? if that games was made with the gothic III engine, then yes, no one was able to run. if you'd make it on the Trackmania Sunrise engine, it would work just fine ...
that's the idea of rome total war. back in the days, it didn't required a superpc to run that on descent details, and that are a LOT more units.
if you can run Supreme Commander maxed out, i don't think that you would experience any difficulties with that MMOFPS suggested above

I think any game is capable of adding that feature, its just that it'll never happen because the host's bandwidth will go through the roof and everyone's computer crashes or lags out. xD

The .hack anime rocked!I want a game like that.But my idea for a virtual reality game would be a Star Ocean.You'd go hopping from planet to planet in you're spaceship.
And now for the greatest and most daring part of my idea...
In the beggining,you create you're character.But there's a step where you enter various details about yourself..Then,you'd be assigned with a party of real players.The timezones would match,so everyone could play at the same time.The computer would analize the details and assign everyone a position.
Like,in real life,i like guns.I'd be assigned the ship marksmanship.My fellow buddy from say..Spain likes driving,he'd be the pilot...And for example,i am assigned to be the leader.I'd analize some missions,ask my team which one would be the coolest/rewarding and we'd go to the planet of the mission.

But my game idea doesn't need any kind of revolutionary tech.All it needs is a database matching system and that's all!

So in other words 1000 men battles are passable given someone has a powerful enough server. do i ever see them in game... no..lol

This kind of game would completely suck.
GL killing anyone in a tight group of 40 people. Zerg rush anyone? It'd be like watching "Saving Private Ryan", except you'd repeat the intro over and over and over again.
