Well I was looking and I am asking should I play enemy territory? If so explain and give me the good mods for it.

suggest you to play without any mod first, the orginal game will last for a while..

the game itself is ok, and so is the community.. but it does get old after a while.

i heard true combat elite is one of the best mod, try and google it

It depends on what do you want, if you're looking for a game where:
-teamwork: when you see a running medic under heavy fire just to revive you
-missions: each map is a mission with objectives and such
-fun: learn to play covert ops and you will be maximizing the fun factor :)
-fast-action: if you die, you don't have to wait the next round, just the spawning time 15-25secs, like the old Battlefield
-sounds: you have the radio sounds like "Yoooooohooooooo"
-brain is used: you can do "Leeroy Jenkins" runs or you can use your brain to play, ie. try the sniper rifle :)

So, Enemy Territory is for you. It is also nice that the game comes with an auto updater, I mean if you go on a server that uses a mod like ETPro, you don't to manually download it, it's automatic. But this updater doesn't work for heavy mods like true combat: elite or ET Team Fortress, that's because they're heavy mods.

Now for the bad points:
-Medics Uber Skillers: It seems that more and more players think to be the ultimate uber roxxor in earth, just because they have kill/death rates like (43/12). Medics is the class that have more health, can heal himself and can have adrenaline: a temporary buff where you get stronger. The problem is that they spam the general chat with: "Im too good" "I own your house" "and blablabla". If you kill them, the answer comes right away: "OMG, noob" "you suck". But well, this problem is generic for online fps like ET or CS.
-Spawnkillers: well, some players use artillery on spawn points, so in this case you have like 3 seconds to live

But these bads points really depends on the server, so here are my advices:
-play Enemy Territory the classic one. Begin with an easy class like medic.
-choose the right server: I used to play on the "Nexus" ones.
-don't cheat :p
-have fun
-if you want "something else": try the full mods like True Combat Elite or ET Team Fortress

True Combat Elite is real fun, but like these guys say, the original game is fun too.

True combat elite is for people who don't really want to play et.

There is absolutely no teamwork unless you play campaign (no xp save) servers otherwise you are just gonna get a bunch of medic whores running around being obnoxious like MrDrax said.

Lol this game is nothing like counter strike for many, many reasons which im not bothered to post here :P but I will post the main one and that is Counter Strike is a combat simulator so it tries to be very realistic. Enemy territory on the other hand has some very unrealistic things in it like full auto smgs with no recoil and its nothing like WWII combat was in real life.

Anyway yes you should definetly download it, its free and definetly worth the small amount of memory it uses up there are many great maps and mods for this game and it can take very long to become bored of it.

well I want to get counter strike but my parents are too lazy to fill iin the info when its only 10 bucks haha well when I downlaod a mod and play it there are no games or servers there its just empty

They are of the same genre, FPS, but they are certainly NOT clones in any way.
It's like saying that WOW is a clone of Guild Wars.

The point is the question of the thread has been answered and and the person who made the thread has no use left for it, as for post count I don't give a $hit about post count I come to these forums to find and share info about mmos not to stare and be proud of a large number next to my post count.
Oh and it seems like its going to turn into a flamewar because of you telling people they won an award for the "most retarded post" although I do agree that ET is nothing like CS telling people that their posts are retarded makes no sense and just doesn't help whether or not you intended to cause that person offence you still shouldn't do it.
