new weapons : hammer (maybe only brutes can wield it) , dual sabers , a new brute rifle , a brute nade and a mobile plasma turret ( which i also think that only brutes can wield). enjoy^^

The last time I played halo 2, was maybe a month after it came out, and if i recall correctly, the plasma sword was an instant kill no matter the circumstances, why in hell would you need two of them.

Cause it looks cool. Hell i would rather have a chuck norris kick that dual swords.

As of now Halo 3 is not being released for PC. Look how long it took Microsoft to port Halo 2 to PC. Even then it was only something to attempt to get gamers to upgrade to Vista.

... which would undermine their gaming experience to begin with.

Halo is a first-person shooter series,and Gears of War,a third-person game,I don't think Halo3 wil own Gow since it's not the same genre.I personally can't wait for Halo 3 though(even if I don't have a 360 at the moment),the new weapons seem pretty cool.

Gears of war is pretty much different from Halo3 but obviously people who can't find anything better to do will make heated discussions.

This is pretty old... Download a video called "Et tu Brute" on xbox live marketplace, or on youtube and you get a commentary on all of this.

Gears of War and Halo 3 are very alike. Just because one camera angle's third person and the other's first person doesn't mean they're both shooter games. It just means they have different camera angles.

That said, Halo 3 will probably sell well just because of the hype. Gears of War came out of nowhere, so it didn't have much of a hype train to ride for excellent sales (Not to say it didn't sell well). I don't know if Halo 3 will provide me with as much satisfaction as Gears does, though. Nothing like chainsawing through a few enemies to let some stress out.

halo 3 will be better than gow, gow 2 will be better than halo 3.
