I mean PvP wise, and PvM wise. Do you think they are good, or bad? Personally I think they're the ultimate PvP support if you ignore heal.

there is no need for support as bards. use tarot of fate/frost joke or frost joke/arrow of wind vulcan and you can easily kill anyone.

Clowns are crazy. They're not exactly great support or great offense.

But come on. They just look so damn sweet.

Oh and Frost Jokes pretty useful. Though the jokes are so horribly lame.

Frost Joke is awesome when it works, you can freeze masses of people in a few seconds =) And I agree, the jokes are very lame. Tarot card of Fate isn't very reliable to be frankly honest. And AV has an annoyingly long animation (Same as Sonic Blow...), if that was reduced then Clowns could arguably be one of the best offence classes. It's a shame that they are only of great use with parties and large numbers of people.

I found this out once:
Clowns can defend an entire castle on their lonesome, or in pairs.
It´s quite simple really:
High Rates!
A Max-Lvl Clown can hold the emp room all alone! Here´s the combo to defeat the path of atackers:
Frost Joke
Vulcan Arrow.
Repeat.

Bards are bad, offence-wise. Stick with support for them, they're good at helping others.
If you really want a PvP char in that class range, you basically NEED to be a clown since its Vulcan Arrow is awesome (which makes up for the bard nearly having no decent damage-dealing skills).

So, bard = supportive.
But clown = mad damage, if played right.

u forgot the best clown's skill...VULCAN ARROW -_-! use that skill with a 99 dex and 195 atkspd + luk!!! u will scare >.> Oh!!! now is really a pretty damage ^^" neva understmate clowns sir they have low hp but i high atack my clown on high rate server has only 2,5k atk with 255 dex and 140 luk >.> and can do one 4k damage easy!!!(4k HIT!!) the total vulcan with 4k hit isss.....36k!! but using this skill faster u can do an insane damage and kill ppl very fast alot of times I use my clown on pvp and win 2x1!! but neva forgot u usually will lost against hide SinX cuz MA has a insane damage too but he willl need an instant cast!! and that's is impossible on a low rate server with max stats 99!!but YOUR cast will be instant becuz u've improve concentration!!!u can do instant cast with 99+21 dex!! =] clown is one of the best classess on RO!!

stalk mode for the stalker.. with silents card on his knife\bow.. and stun card on the armor.. first.. the stalker will strip u so u wont have the immune card on u.. then the clown must attack the stalker then he will get stun cuz the armor card.. then the stalker can silent him easly

u know.. u can choose what job u want.. there is no "the perfect PVP job"
so yea.. for PVM clown really great.. nice job to play with..
but for pvp? i think they are good but there are betters..
again.. against each job u can do something. like.. against the clown i just told what to do with stalker.. but there are jobs who kicked to stalker like a champ with hiding card on garment.. (hide.. get close.. asura..) but against this there are the hunters with sight card on the 1st acc and wind ghost on the 2nd acc (5% chance to cast jupitar thunder) so the hunter will see the monk with sight then shoot him and sometimes jupitar thunder to get the monk far away from him
and against this there is the.........................
u see.. there is no "perfect PVP char so u can never say "the ultimate PVP char"

stalkers nowadays can't do JACK. creator's full protection can easily downgrade a stalker's full strip.

But if the bard doesnt have enough dex to reduce casting time then its GG for him. xD Usually i use bow stalkers because DEX is just godly, having to use only 2 stats, a spammable as hell Double Strafing and Full Strip is based on [(Your DEX) - (Enemy's DEX) + 15%] chance to occur so yeah, bow stalkers are hawt.

Then again, no smart stalker would take a Pally or LK 1 on 1 in a WoE or Guild war. We aren't the main damage dealers but we're still extremely useful.

Bards are fun to use. They can be devastating in the right situations.

of course bards are just 2nd job and clowns are advance 2nd job the only time that a 2nd job can pwn a adv 2nd job is when worng built or no equips and monks can pwn adv. 2nd job......these 2 jobs are really helpful in WoE if they use the skill that canels delay and faster cast time so the wizzys kill people w/ SG LOV etc etc when they enter the emp room

To tell you the truth in my opinon you shouldn't make a clown if its your first char or you don't have much people to party with becase most of there support skills are not as good as preist and there offence have long delay times...but if you mvp there good as like a back up for a hunter =].

actually, i've seen in some Pserver videos take down a pally or an LK. and those stalkers/LKs/pallys are ALL pros
