Hellsing wouldn't be too hard, there's not enough horror out there.

Features:

-Third Person, WASD + Mouse control
-Team based "tactical missions"
-Ranged(Guns) or melee weapons
-Races: Vampire, Werewolf, Human, and more I'm too lazy to think of right now.
-Certain races can use certain gear that's equally beneficial. (If Van Hellsing can capture Arucard, i'm sure it wouldn't be too rediculous to have humans on an equal level with vampires and werewolves, especially if they are regenerators)
-Vampires = Heavy weapons(Stronger of course) + some melee capabilities
-Humans = Light weapons(Faster), no melee
-Werewolves = melee only (balanced)
-Much, much more

I'd put more effort into it if it were gonna happen or someone was asking for my idea for an actual mmorpg. So it sounds kinda typical.

The Devil's Fruit part might be tricky, can't possibly have all players with an ability :D There are a number of MMORPGs dealing with pirates or/and ship battles out there, but I'm keeping an eye on Florensia (http://en.florensia.co.kr/).

I think FullMetal Alchemist would be a good MMORPG.

The strong points would be customizing your own Alchemists to make them each unique.

Follow the quest of Ed and Al trying to find the Philosopher's stone (Ala LOTRO missions?)

Fighting each of the Seven Deadly Sin's as bosses :3.

Large guild battles~

Real-time combat, it's a must DX.

And if someone does make a FMA MMO, lets hope by God that they use a number filter and limit the number of Ed or Al clones running around x.x.

You would first start out as a normal villager in the soul society and you can choose your starting age and build up your spirit power, then you would go through school and join a division. There would be divisions with captains and just like in the show if you wish to become captain you need to defeat the current one, to get stronger you would defeat hollows...

True. It isn't technically an Anime. But these days, whenever a kid sees something that has a Japanese feel to it; they will call it an Anime. Anime, cartoon... many people don't know the difference. The term has been misused so many times people are now calling cartoons Anime.

I like to think of it as an Anime. Then I could join in a conversation about 'Anime'. It makes me feel warm inside...

Sidenote: Anime does NOT mean Japanese animation. Anime is a style of animation, nothing more. Yes, it was invented by Japanese companies that lacked big budgets for real cartoons, but that does not mean all Japanese cartoons are anime nor does it mean that all american cartoons are not anime.

Well basically there cannot be a mmorpg from that game as a mmorpg could not possibly have a storyline where theyre finding somebodys dad. It would be a samurai mmorpg, but it could have good humour like samurai champloo has, and the graphics could be animeish.
