Mudvayne is pretty crappy metal. Its thrasher without a reason. Listen to cradle of filth, Slayer, Iron maiden, Motorhead, Megadeth (which you listed YAY!).

Rob Zombie is good but i wouldn't call it metal. In fact if you want the best metal look up some local metal/punk garage bands. Most small bands are better because they aren't told what to do, and bands like Tool, and Mudvayne after a while produce what their told to.

Cradle are shit.

Dog Fashion Disco, ISIS, Nuclear Rabbit and Sturch are probably the best progressive metal to check out IMO

Seen Decapitated like 2 months ago in Winnipeg it was NUTS. By far my favourite death metal band.

My favorite Bodom song is Living Deadbeat.
And Ramstein, "nu" is used to mean "new".

I went to see Bodom in the summer time with Lamb and Slayer. Was soo sick.

Now, metal these days is broken down way too much. Metalcore, Metal, Death metal, black metal, hardcore...I am a fan of hardcore myself...most people don't know shit about hardcore, and have no right to talk about it...(they confuse metalcore and hardcore way too easily, but there is a big distinction).


Anyway, the best band I can think of, that I would consider even SEMI-METAL that I like, is The Warriors. Give them a listen (their first album that is)
