Seems like all these what are you listening to mumbo jumbo has got some people shook. Those threads are basically spam fests as pointed out by Introverted, a bettter solution to this thread, would be something like Last.fm. Me Raikun and Fab-i-oh have been using this nifty little tool for quite some time, and I think its time to show other people the wonders of this tool.

By the way, FabianN created an OnRPG group/subforum on last.fm. This allows for some discussion, plus you can check who's listening to who on OnRPG. EDIT: Looks like FabianN deleted the group.

It works with a couple media players which you SELECT which include WMP, Winamp, Foobar, iTunes and a couple others. Not Youtube.

You need to label them correctly, but if you downloaded them and the band/song is in the database it should show.

Yea, you get like a month to get more than three members, or it auto-deletes the group, or something like that...
And the thing will work for most players that are on your computer. And also, youtube doesn't make any sense because thats video, this is music.
It works for nearly all major music playes, and is great for finding other music that you'd like.
Oh, and how about passing on some of those powers so that I can help manage this?

Pandora is better for that.

Tried that thing. It's interesting, but how it finds the matching music isn't completely acurate.
It matches based on things like the tempo, rythem, ect.
last.fm matches based on all of that + user input
And you get a nice large list that shows you how close to your search does a artist come, instead of having to go through it one by one.
But none the less, it is an interesting program. Just wish it would do more "mass lists" instead of one artist at a time.

I made an account at Last.fm today.
But I have a question:
In a different forum I have this "recently played songs" picture in my signature.
I read in the FAQ that it should be updated every 5 minutes. But it isn't updated for hours, although it displays all the songs I heard in my profile...

I've found that it happens sometimes with the browser cache. Basicly whats happening is that the browser see's this image with a location. It looks in it's cache and finds another image with the exact same location and filename, so it assumes it's the same one. So instead of loading it off the web it loads it off your hard drive.
Found this to happen with FF and IE from time to time. Don't know why.
And I agree, stickied for a few weeks. Nothing permenent, but a good sticky for some time.
Does this work well with LimeWire?

Even if nobody in the world listens to you, you know you always have GOOGLE.
Three Days Grace (also known as 3DG or TDG) is a Canadian alternative metal / post-grunge band formed in 1997.[2] The band used to be named "Groundswell" and consists of members Adam Gontier, Neil Sanderson, Brad Walst and Barry Stock.
