i heared alot of this game maplestory and how many people are playing this game,i played it for a while but i didnt like it that much so i quit it,but what i really want to know and thats why i made this post is why do you people like this game alot??? is it from the fun you get it in the guild ??? or in party and fighting mobs??? or in what ???? and if you like both of them(guild and party) what is the most one???

Hi, eh! For me, it's partying and supporting. Then you get kool looking things to use. guilds, not sommuch,eh.

Maple story just seems to suit my gaming style. Also, i just love making friends on that game and just chatting for like, 2 hours. And perhaps the main reason why i came back to maple story is because of my girlfriend.

now everyone is in different servers and it sucks cause you cant talk with anyone

well we all wish we could change charecters in different servers for the hell of it and because of freinds yeah but it wouldnt make it any different with the lag XP

Well I just quit but what kept me going for about a year is competition of trying to get higher then guild members and parties.

each channel has much more maps
and each channel can hold up to 20k people excluding channel 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10

10 million people is over exagerated
in the entire maplestory? maybe

in OMS? definatly not

I like maplestory for two reasons. A) I like the battles, Its alot better then WoW or Lineage 2 where you can click the mouse and wait for them to die. Here you can actually jump and attack and have an actuall battle plan. Wich is why i like Thief best. It is fast, with alot of skill involved... at least untill you get pwn skills that just obliterate everything.. Then you just ..obliterate.

Second reason i like it is jokeing around with friends. Noticing the little things and laughing about it while jumping around getting stomped by balrog(a boss). The graphics could use a little less cartoonish feel for me.. But there are some good ways you can dress yourself to look a little better.. i suppose.

Did you really played Lineage2 or WoW? Battles are more than click on the monster and wait for it to die. You need way more strategy than in MS. MS has no strategy except for boss monsters.

Yes.. I have played both. I used to be obsessed with both. level 60 rogue on wow and i dont even remember how high of a blade dancer i had. But with them when a number rolls and it says it hits you. It hits you, end of story. With maple story. If you see an attack coming, you move out of the way. It doesnt get much more stratigic then being able to dodge things yourself. Enough of this though, i shall debate over wich is better no more. So if you wish to continue you will do it with yourself. I just expressed why i like MS. ^_^

Where in the world i said anything about better? I only showed where your point was wrong. Dodging an attack isnt considered strategy, its considered reflex. And MS also has the roll dice to see if you get it, why do you think we get MISS?
