well im playin the jp verson and i cant read anything and i cant get the eng patch to work...so what is the first AOE skill?

If i remember correctly, way back to my Euro Cabal beta days, wizard's AOE skills are the earth spells. According to this list:
http://www.cabalonline.net/Default.aspx?wbs=4.0.0.3 It should be Dig bomb i think. Btw, ignore the "fire arrow, aqua arrow" or "stone blast, aqua blast spells". Spells like these, that are basically the same with the element changed, are generic magic skills for all classes, get the ones specially for wizards, which are only available in desert scream. So get dig bomb, freeze, burning hand or something.

The english patch for japanese cabal might work with the chinese one, if the quests/npces are the same, and the files and structured the same way, and AoE stands for area of effect (i think...could be wrong). It's just used to describe skills that will attack an area around the target rather than just hit a single monster.
