recently when i start maplestory, the gameguard thing just stays there and nothing happens, i tried to turn off my firewall and it still happens.. any ideas? XO :-/

1) Go to: C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc

2) Right-click on a file named "host" and turn off "Read-only", click Accept/Ok.

3) Open the file with notepad

4) Delete everything except 127.0.0.1 Local Host which should be the first line. Save the file, you're done.

Should fix ur problem

k thanks alot, and is it strange that theres only one line under host the 127.0.0.1 Local Host?? O_O
