Listen.

1. This has nothing to do with my guide.
2. Learn grammar.
3. If you're gonna hack to 30 then quit, what's the point?
4. If you're gonna hack because everyone else is doing it, you can go bury yourself.
5. Please jump out of the nearest window.

omg im sorry but this is very sad. This person is a perfect stereotype for the fall of America. HE HAS NO KNOWLEDGE OF SPELLING AND GRAMMAR. You should tell him

"Send me a new e-mail, with no grammatical and spelling errors. Then, calmly explain why you deserve hacks."

After he does this, send him this

"This was a very hard email for you to write wasnt it? Took a lot of time, and after you wrote it, it felt good didn't it? Well, this is the feeling you get when you do everything the right way, and not cut corners in life."

"Getting the hack"
The hack, as in there's only one.

They point out a reason and point of view. It clearly states his opinion in an indirect, creative way. Perhaps you are in a bad mood, but this post isn't that much worse than the usual ones around here.

THey may not be the most usefull but there expressing ben's opinions on maple hackers and things like that there not useless you just have to dig deep to find the real meaning.
Plus at least there better then threads like

Instead of "THX" he should've put "K THX BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" fits his/her style more...

You should send him a virus, and the attachment is the "hack"

The reason why Gms get so many bans is because of users like him(as in the E-mail guy)

Slade

The posts about hackers being prohibited are the kind that have SS's of hackers or are just random rants about hackers. In this case, ben is sharing with us an email that an idiot sent to him, and yes, its about maplestory. It shouldn't matter that he mentions the word 'hacker.'

Lol Ben, i wouldn't have been so kind. I'd just say 'CC PLZ' and send it back :).

to my knoldege yoon and correct me if im wrong but in that sticky olaph says he dosn't want threads containg what to do about hackers/ and gms or bashing of the two Ben's thread is nothing like it
so really you don't need to keep being such a mean face :O

yoon82

This is directly quoted from Olaph...
"ive seen way to many topics regarding them (hackers) as well as GM bashing threads
so from now on if I see any topic complaining or suggesting what to do about hackers or the GM's i'm going to lock them no questions asked

We don't need the whole first page of topics complaining about hackers or what not

if it gets any worse even after i post this then i'll have to start handing out warnings(and you don't want that )"

The post xchrome made was about an email an illiterate wanna-be-hacker sent. It was a complaint/humerous post, however it was still a complaint that hackers were still trying to access hacks through other people. Nevertheless... it's still a post about a hacker and quite frankly, doesn't help out the forum much.

The thread was probably created to state that xChrome doesn't like hackers/cheater in MS, and that they are idiots.

Yoon, if I remember, you yourself created a thread about magicjubin a week or two ago. I understood your intentions back then, and felt bad about what Olaph did cause imo the comunity has the right to know who hacks or who doesn't (ex - no hackers are allowed in the Top5 list). Same goes for discussing their feelings about those people.
Still, I wonder why do you want Olaph so bad to close this thread as well...

Now, the question is: Should each and every person who posted in these threads be warned? After all, people talking about hackers and getting banned is not much different than xChrome saying that someone asked him for them.

First of all, the main idea of the thread I made of MagicJubin wasn't about him (there was already another post about that written by other people), but actually to point out the person who framed him. And secondly, even if the post was about my brother, it sheds light on an active member in the forum, not some random person.

Nevertheless, the post in this thread gave no explanation of why it was posted and gave no enlightening info about anything. Utterly useless if you ask me. It was nothing more than a simple copy-paste post...

Now, the question is: Should each and every person who posted in these threads be warned? After all, people talking about hackers and getting banned is not much different than xChrome saying that someone asked him for them.

It's not so much as warning the people who replied to these threads, but the person who started the thread. As forum members, we should be aware of the rules of what and what not to post. If there's a thread, people are obviously going to reply in it and give their 2 cents. You can't blame them for that. Whoever initiated the post should get warned/punished consequently.

The other difference (not that it makes it ok for the others to post about hackers anyway...) is that the other posts had some sort of content explaining their thread... xchrome's was nothing but a cut and paste. Not even a single thought on it. Just another way to earn post count, if you ask me...

Another way to earn post count? You're implying I was spamming?

I disregarded the rules, that's clear. But that's quite an assumption saying that I posted this thread for the sole purpose of getting my post count up. I think anyone with common sense [that read what I posted] could see the message in there: The gMS community is going absolutely nowhere. My post was my opinion. If I wanted to just copy and paste a message from my inbox and post it without any logical explanation or clear reason, I would have. I posted this for a reason, and I think I made it clear enough.

Besides, no one ever did ask you.

hmmm...very interesting.

personnally i found ur 1st post quite funny to read, it was rather enteraining to see some stupid idiot ask for hacks in a very comical fashion. :D

@yoon, if this thread topic was rly that bad, then Olaph or any other mod wud lock it. if u rly want to delete threads and be a mod, go make ur own forum and gain control there.

id rather see someone break the rules and see something funny than see someone making a thread which was boring.

For you people wondering why the GMs get so many hackers is that each time you log into maple, GameGuard makes a log, in the form of an .erl file. This file contains info on what programs were running at the time. Then, during a server check, they gather these files, and ban the people who were running hacks.
***This is just a guess at how they mass ban during server checks***

If you had read some of the previous posts, there were some people who had no idea where your post had lead to. It's nothing more than a copy-paste post so my assumptions were practical. And you're right, no one asked me for my opinion... but then again, no one cared to ask for yours either. >_>

id rather see someone break the rules and see something funny than see someone making a thread which was boring.

If you like rules being broken, maybe you should make your own site where everyone can consistantly break the rules?

Yes, so many use-er's O_o Caps lock pl0x >_>

But i can't believe that crap at all. "I'll only hack to level 30" haha give me a freaking break. If you hack you can reach level 30 in like 4 hours, i reached level 30 legit myself in like 3-4 days? If he left those hacks on for about a day (which he would) he'd probably return to be level 45-47. Hacks are like pringles. Once you pop you just can't stop.

Nevertheless... it's still a post about a hacker and quite frankly, doesn't help out the forum much.

Hmm well lets see now, is your arguing helping the forum? Is your ignition of the flame war honest to god going to help this community? See right now I'm flaming. Wow. Oh dear, I'm breaking the rules, but so are you by continuing this. If your so hellbent on abiding by the rules, then thats fine by us, just don't whine to us about how WE'RE breaking the rules when your so clearly doing it yourself. Thats just the height of arrogance.

Oh and by the way? What Ben posted wasn't 'complaining' about a hacker. He just found an idiot who was stupid enough to ask for hacks. Doesn't make the idiot a hacker now does it? No, it makes him a wannabe script kiddie. He's not a hacker till he hacked. So hes just showing a pot about an idiot who asked Ben for hacks, which also has to do with Maplestory. I don't see a problem there, do you?
