what are the differences. which one is stronger/faster?

Same speed.

Axes have a higher maximum attack and lower minimum and favor slashes.

Swords have a decent maximum and minimum attack and favor both stabs or slashes.

actually depending on the axe 1 handed is the same but 2 handers are slow
really its if you want maximum damage go axe(also cheeper and easier to scroll cause there cheeper) and swords look cool and are stable
or you could be awsome like me and be a 1 handed sword fighter

Some 2 hand axes are slower than 2 hand swords, but some are the same speed. Axes are like the polearm for fighters. It has a high max damage but a real shitty min damage. Also axes are cheaper >_>. Usually swords are for people that have more money.

i was training one day and i was using a two handed axe it was more stable then my 2 handed sword and my 2 handed sword had a higher max

im in favor of a 2hs fighter more, since imo, axes go downhill in looks after the niam. unless ur fighter can get high enough to equip the colonian axe or has enough funding to get a dragon axe, iwouldnt go axe fighter. (even though axe scrolls are pretty cheap)

Well one hand-axe fighters have the benefit of sheilds and a faster axe, but lower damage.

Honestly i'd go with 2-hand axe fighter or 1-hand sword fighter. 1-hand axes are really hard to buy but the shields are extremely useful because they give str or dex boosts. 2-hand sword fighters have to pay ALOT for scrolls. ALOT! So if you have low funding then i recommend axes, cheaper scrolls by a big margin and cheaper axes too.

Why don't you just switch the hands when the time comes? I mean from one handed to two handed. When you get up in the levels, some shields give you a STR bonus but I think its to cancel out when you have a 2 hander. The strengths might be similar. (2hander doesn't sound right. I need to get my mind out of the gutter >_<)

blunt weapon is for pages. can you use blunt weapons for a fighter? or is it only sword & axe. because there is only sword and axe mastery. i really wanted to use a blunt weapon, but chrome said pages are super boring and barely have any skills.

You got it right.
Pages = Blunt weapons/swords
Fighters= Axes/swords
Pages can't use axes and Fighters can't use blunt weapons:)

2 hand axe looks great I think, and the scrolls are cheap.

they're in terms of scrolling and to a degree the actual weapon
we also can't give an accurate comparison since prices fluctuate and are also different for every server

Well pages are very very fun in 3rd job, its just that they suck bawls in 2nd job.

any warrior can use any weapons

its just that the skills and mastery doesnt work with it
