Ok I have yet to see any differences, should I start playing this game? Idk please help me decide. Whats the difference between the two?

1-10 all the same no matter if u go warrior or whatever ur stats points reset
not that major grind fomr lvl 1-40
not as many hackers as ms
sealed items = scrolls so u dont have to hunt or buy for super high price
ppl more nice than ms
no pq

BUT ghost has less players(was when I started) MS has a lot more players 24/7

MS players get skills and job advancement at level 30 Ghost I'm not sure
And Ghost is easier to get money(selling equipments)

Yeah that sucks, but I agree that you can find some awesome people in MS.

I loved GO while it was...fun. Lol. Got boring around level 20ish. But those 20 levels...worth 60 levels in MS. GO is wayyy funner. At leasy for me and my friends. I think it was the fact you could run really fast and jump really high like ninjas. That was my favorite part. But the leveling got slower than Maple around Level 20.

GOs community isnt soo great either, people don't even talk to you because they're too "busy" running 100 miles an hour but when you compare it to Maple Story's I think GO's wins, because atleast people talk to you and party with you and get to know you, people in MS just wanna KS you and defame you. Feature wise I prefer MS more because they have all these numerous things to do besides train like everyone thinks you should do. This is just my opinion though.

Haven't gone through the higher places in GO to hear all the music they have mapped for each area.LOL

Hello.

You shouldn't compare GO's community/hackers to MS's community/hackers. GO is increasing worryingly in number of hackers, and it's only in OB. In future, who knows, it might turn into a maplestory-like hackerfest. Only time will tell.

However, I DO prefer GO's gameplay over MS in some ways.

- Faster-paced.
- PvP.
- Actually requires some timing and skill as compared to MS where you only spam skills.
- Did I say PvP? There's also TEAM PvP.
- No jumping quests =_=
- Though the music gets repeated sometimes in different areas (especially the hidden maps), I like GO's oriental music compared to MS's.

MS, though, beats GO in:

- Character customization
- Variety of bosses (GO's bosses are too limited. Sure, animal lords are cool, but... Then again, not when every boss is one.)
- Besides partying, GO doesn't implement much of a teamwork factor. MS has party and guild quests, and you actually need more than 1 person to beat a boss. In GO, you just need a high enough level and lots of pots to kill bosses.
- A bigger variety of... Everything, overall. Partly because its' been out for a long time, and partly because it's not limited to Ancient Chinese Mythology.
- The higher level you get in MS (though it takes a lot of time), the funner the game gets. As of now, in GO, there's not much of a point in levlling up since guild wars aren't out, and second jobs aren't out.


But I still like GO better for some reason. *Goes off to grind to level 35*

Ok. Heres my opinion.

1) Ghost has a really good pvp.
2) No gay really high priced scrolling.
3) Hardly any hackers If you see one You can kick me hard plox.
4) You can fish instead of traning and pqs that mostly what Ms is.
5) Easy quest
6) Fast running High jumping abilitys.
7 Less rigged skills and stuff.
8) Most of all GO is better. btw I get bored of games fast :S

MS, though, beats GO in:

- Character customization
large heads, small bodies XD

In GO the music goes better with the background and the sounds are realistic. I mean, you won't get button-like sound when you jump, its actually a sound which represents jumping, which is great. I agree for bosses, they shouldn't only be zodiac bosses and they don't actually look that good. They could try to make it just a little less realistic(I mean not based from anything.. just from someone's imagination)

Another thing I don't like from GO : Many people don't speak english very well(much more than in maplestory) and its REALLY annoying when you ask them things like "What are you maxing?" and they answer "My skills are strong!!!!!!" or even worse once I asked some guy what was his max dmg and he said "thx"

Yeah, most of em' are Malaysians/Singaporeans who use "Manglish/Singlish".

I'm Malaysian myself, but it gets irritating. xD

Though Maple Global may not have people who talk like that, MapleSEA definitely does.

No broken skills like UBER PWNAGE Dragon Knight
All Jobs and Skills are Balanced
Game Requires more skill than spaming one skill button and Spamming Pots.
Defense is actually useful than useless
More customization on Character Builds
Production Quality is great
Second Jobs have some sweet looking armor and skills (Better than Maple IMO)
Even though I have never seen a GM, The GMs don't piss me off (But this shouldn't count ^^; )

And as the patchs come, This list will grow...

More types of Weapons to choose from
... Thats it...

But aside from that, yes, it's pretty balanced. (If the skills WEREN'T balanced, PvP would be a mess =_=)

I still think MS is better than GO at this point, and is an overall more complete experience. However, I still... Prefer GO xD

Okay, Maple Story beats GO in features, and size of the world. It seems to be more visually apealing to most users.

Ghost Online isn't up to MS standards yet. But you don't get that great hate of the game once you over play it. People in the GO community are better. They talk to you, party with you. Aren't all noobs running around defaming. Or threating you with their higher level characters, and KSing you all the damn time. Eh, but thats because the servers are smaller, just wait untill the future! AHHHHH

Exactly, the future.

Right now, if I was motivated to play, I'd already be level 40+.

But... I just don't see a point in getting to a higher level right now. I'll wait for more updates.

Guys you have to think for how long as MS been out and for how long as GO been out they released the open beta a month ago give 3 more months to the game and it will be Roking beleive me:D

if the makers of GO keep it up it'll be better than MS in just about every way :)

btw Assassins are DEFINATLEY not balanced in pvp, 2 good hits and the fights over. poison if it works then normal attack to finish the job.

i can't agree with the ones i bolded above.. MS has way more customization for builds IMO (HP warriors, Battle Mages, etc etc. long list).

and for armor i hate how everyone at your level looks the same. they should give that variety of colors and such to go with it too, adding different stats. they also need to separate between top and bottom =/ aka more upgrades in defense
