When you listen to metal while mad does it compress it?

When I'm angry, it soothes me.

When I need to be angry, it fuels me.

When I did track in my school-days, I would have a walkman and a bottle of honey. The honey was to give me some extra energy, and the metal to keep me focused.

Now, I use it while I am doing work or gaming. Helps me keep a steady and somewhat fast pace.

Never iduced anger within me though.

Good metal shouldnt get you angry. If anything it helps me when im angry. If you get angry while listening to metal done listen to it and jam to some techno instead(which is still pretty cool).

Depends on whether its good metal or not. Nu metal pisses me off to no end. If it was say Sonata Arctica or Amon Amarth I would be perfectly pleased.

Dream Theatre is one of my favourites. Metal gets my adrenaline going alot of the times.

What I hate about metal is, their hair sings more than they do. And also moves more than they do.

Which just goes to show how little you know about metal!

Sometimes it just doesn't do anything but help me reflect on the fact that I'm pissed off. So it doesn't really calm me down.
But if it's DragonForce then almost IMMEDIATELY I'll become less mad or not mad at all.
I'd also say it depends on the type of metal.

I don't listen to any type of metal at all.

I just don't like how it sounds, although the lyrics are catchy at times.
I've tried listening to DragonForce, Metallica, and other-like bands or whatever; I just don't like how it sounds. >.<;

Metal makes me angry or enhances my bad mood. I can only enjoy it when I'm in a mood that blows already, otherwise I need more upbeat music. Dragonforce is tricky though, I can swing either way because it gives me energy.

Metal makes me happy.

Songs like "Fiddler On The Green" just screams awesome.

metal personally helps me express my anger.. if im pissed off I can just pick up a guitar and write a "song(?)", or listen to one.
