ughhh i hate when this happens.
When Nyko Universal Online Kit said all you need is a internet connection, your system, AND A MODEM <<<< i thought they meant your computer internet modem(like a comcast modem) but i was wrong i need a playstation MODEM OMG THIS PISSES ME OFF!!!

where can i buy a playstation2 modem (i dont want to use credit card so please dont send me links to sites like ebay)

There's no such thing as a PlayStation Modem.
Maybe you're referring to the Playstation 2 Network Adaptor (http://www.peliplaneetta.net/images/articles/308/b_3.jpg)?

If that's the case, you can find it in any store that sells Playstation games/accessories.

In that case, even though you said you couldn't, the only option would be to buy it online.

I think they might have discontinued production of the Network Adapter at the same time that they chose to stop producing the original, "fat" PS2. This is because the new "slim" one comes with it built-in.

i might ask my friend to buy it for me online then on ebay give him the money in real life.

is it possible that when he buys the item on his ebay account it can get send to my house?

i live in new york and my friend lives in boston and i might visit him soon you think he can buy it online and send it to my house in new york even tho he lives in boston?

Actually, you can still find a PS2 network adapter at Gamestop.

And in fact, a while back, my father wanted to see one, and they brought it right out back, new and sealed in it's sony box.

If gamestop.com still sells them, then more than likely you're going to find a store that sells them also.

Note: they're are about $30.
