One more day! :D
I've been finishing up some loose ends on my Argonian, mostly side quests and finally finishing up the Thieves Guild. Read the review in Game Informer where it got a 9.5, and just reading the article makes me want to play it so bad.

Anyways, for Oblivion fans; where you at on your character, and what do you plan to do once Shivering Isles hits shelves?

*ahem* Sorry 'bout that. >_> So yeah, if you haven't noticed, I can't wait for it. ^_^ Looks so awesome, and nothing like Knights of the Nine either. :p

But is there any requirement too level or anything at all before entering Sheogorath's Realm? Or are all the enemies scaled and such? Cuz' I just started a new game and deleted my old one...and I'm only level 3 now. XD

AKA Morrowind in Oblivion they heard my prayers and now THEY ANSWER.

Death Legion you need to be atleast around a high lvl since it automatically sends tough monsters at you. I don't know if this is true or not but they also may dunk the autolevels with you system.

Its going to use level scaling, so it doesn't matter if you start at level 1 or 50

No, they won't add an option to get rid of level scaling

Awesome i haven't even beaten Oblivion my guy is like level 12 lol iv been far busy playing other games. Im kinda saving Oblivion for when i have no internets so i barely play it, But this and C&C3 man ima be stuck to my pc like Glue for the next month.

Also whats wrong with level scaling? I always thought it was great, game was never to easy or to hard.

Only problem I have with scaling is it makes your accomplishments seem less worthy, and little to no risk involved.

Let me explain better; say for example, you're level 1, fresh start. In a level scaled world, you can go wherever you want and not have to worry about anything, since you know nothing super strong is going to attack you. It kind of loses the cool feeling of having to be careful in a dungeon because of some hard beast that could be lurking around the corner; with level scaling, that is eliminated since all the monsters are equal to you, so you can just skip around in the dungeon wthout a worry in the world. The most you'll probably face is some rats and a mudcrab.

It works the other way too; at level 20, the seemingly godly equipment like Daedric and Glass, is now worn by the lowest of bandits. I mean, you never really feel the sense of your character 'growing' to a powerful being since everything changes with you. You're kind of average throughout the entire game.

And I'm angered because I cannot find the expansion anywhere; did it get delayed or something? :'(
EDIT: Nevermind, called Gamestop, they have a couple copies left.

Yeah, but there are mods that fix that. Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, for example, and Mart's Monster Mod is another one. There are plenty of mods for the PC users too make the game however you want.

Other than that, I think that Shivering Isles will have me glued too my screen for about three weeks or so...just exploring and doin quests. XD

Muwahaha, Gamestop had 1 last copy. :D
Gonna play it for a little bit, come back later and tell you guys how it went.

Oh, and on my Argonian, (Now level 18, yay!) I finally finished the final Thieves Guild quest... I don't normally like stealth type missions in games, but that one was quite fun. Skeleton Key does wonders, btw.

Oh well, off to visit Sheogorath. :)

I've got the expansion just havnt entered the land. Only level 27 and have a ton of stuff left to do in Cyrodiil. Having said that, anyone got a word to say about some of the bosses I heard the last one is extreamly easy. If so, if I move the bar up as far as it'll go (to the hard side) will this guy be a challange for me?

Just got it at best buy I loved the unique twisted landscapes seemed much better than the plain forests and lands.

I don't have much time so I won't post my character.

The last boss had a lot of health... but nothing super special. Just standard issue stuff. Then again, so was the boss at the end of Knights Of The Nine... that guy was easier then the normal enemies.
