trying to think how to explain this but basicaly i wont a game that's not 1 of the popular ones that everyone knows about but more of a hidden fun game with a smaller community.

Most of you are gonna say that the best games are popular but i would disagree, ny 2 favourite games are blade misstres (R.I.P) and thang online. And i don't think i've heard them mentioned in this forum once.

so if there is any hidden gems out there wich i don't know about please let me know :)

only good small community MMO i have ever played was ferentus :( it was great but sadly its gone :(

Monato Esprit always seems pretty empty. The GNG version of Ran Online(Closed down for now?) was also pretty empty with only a few hundred players on at a time. I'm not sure if that's what your looking for, cuz I was also looking for something similar, a great game that isn't really popular. Can't really think of much though. Many MMORPG's seem to have large populations nowadays. Those that don't, seem to die off really quickly(Maybe a lack of money?).

yea i agree the best games i played werent to popular i guess kinda but the real popular ones kinda suck. Try Ultima Online best mmorpg ive ever played its popular on some servers but u should like it. uogateway.com for servers pm me for more detail.

thanks for the help everyone :) i was half expecting to get flamed with something along the lines of 'if a games good then it's gonna be popular' which isn't the case at all.

I'm playing ghost and thang atm, ghost isn't quite what i was looking for but it's fun and the communitys good so i'm happy.

Totaly agree about ferentus it was awsome, a definate 3rd in my favorites list. The new version is just awful though, it depresed me even more playing the substitute than thinking it was gone entirely (although something had to be done cos you couldn't really get past level 30)

I've been thinking of trying Ultima for a while now as i've heard it's a classic so thanks for jogging my memory and you might get a pm soon if i get figure out how to work the server list :P (can you download the client form the link you previded) i'll look into it all more later :)
