Having one hell of a time finding a good mmo that isn't a hack-n-slash or midievil with fairies and swords and whatnot kind of mess.

Basicly trying to find something a little more modern in genre, but not too overly graphicly-demanding. To be specific, my computer can at best handle about a Geforce 2 level of graphics.

I already know of a number of games as it is, some which are interesting and some which just plain suck, so I'm looking for others. Eve Online, Anarchy Online, Planetside, and Space Cowboy are ones I already know about and/or tried already.

Anyone got suggestions?

Have you tried Neocron evilution 2.2? its MMO-FPS tanks,ships big laser guns aliens etc its basicaly planet-side with faction PVP but it has environment controlled bad guys to and quests aswell.

No,it's pay to play,sadly.I would say Entropia Universe,but I guess the specs are too hight.There's always shattered galaxy.Last time I played it was free,I heard it went P2P,not sure.

Is Entropia Universe f2p?Well,I heard you can't do much whitout paying,though the game hasn't monthly fees,but the money you'll use ingame wil be real onw I think,this system was a bit too deep for me.

You can play alot on a GF 2 card and as thingy said its P2P but he had tried other games that are p2p so i dont think he minds. He said he played planet-side and eve-online so if he can run them he should be able to run quite a few games.

Well, I've tried a number of those, just some of them don't work on -this- computer. Such as Eve Online and Neocron 2 both have specs exceeding what this computer can handle. It's primarily the graphics card in this thing that keeps me from playing them, since it's a laptop and the graphics are one of those integrated pieces of shit. But it did run Planetside (on the lowest settings) and that was kinda fun, although the game lagged out whenever I'd get into too large of a battle. Plus I playing that reserves thing, since I can't afford to pay subscription. But that doesn't mean I -wouldn't- subscribe to a game. It's just that I'm trying to find one good enough.
