i need help on how to downgrade my psp, which is version 3.03 right now. i know the chance of bricking is there but id like to know my chances of doing it properly

You need a non-greatest hit version of GTA:Liberty City Stories to downgrade it.

Try http://www.psp-hacks.com. Um and yes you do need an unpatched version of GTA.

Yeah I have Ta-082 Im waiting for a non-gta downgrader to come. Otherwise I will borrow my friends GTA if he finds it.

if you can actually get 303-oce or w/e it is on if your psp bricks you can use the recovery to get it back but remember once you've got it to 303-oce remove all the files from the psp or if you start GTA again it'll semi brick and you'll have to use the recovery

You probably have friends that has the unpatched GTA:Liberty City Stories. I recommend www.qj.net for psp downgrading. If you have the GTA, download this: http://dl.qj.net/Downgrader-for-v3.03-PSP-PSP/pg/12/fid/12431/catid/114
then follow the readme, and you're good to go :D

Unpatched one has a 2.00 update.

There are no illegal files when downgrading a psp...except for the dump, which is made by your psp when you are on the downgrading process, therefore, made by yourself. Multi-player hacks are illegal, but I think singleplayer hacks, are allowed.
