yeah i play on second server (the one which has a lot more channels) i play a sword/mace wielder IGN: Misterli, usually use only 2 skills and don't jump a lot when fighting, i tried some quest but couldn't understand the ones where you have to talk to someone or do something or kill something, the only quests i can finish are the item fetch quests so far, so i can't get a lot of pots (i couldn't understand why i can't buy pots maybe its just for premium users) so i can't seem to find any use for the gold i pick up, also my inventory is almost full, and i have no idea which i can sell and which item and quest or rare ones. And i can't seem to find any english quest guide out there.

There's more english players on diregie than I thought. And taiwanese players with bootleg english.

Luckily I can understand most of them. Makes trading and partying so much easier.

After I download the game and patch gameguard open then the game open I see a black screen and then the game close itself...

you need to log onto the arad senki website with internet explorer, and start it using the game start button.

Oh yeah sorry I forgot to say what I already tried to make it work...
-Set my language setting to japanese (not worked)
-Set my language setting to korean (not worked)
-Using internet explorer,firefox,opera...(not worked)
-Switching 32 bits to 16 bits (not worked)

I'm not too sure, but can it possibly be a graphic driver problem? This game worked perfectly for me, no glitches or bugs or errors. It would be helpfull if you can describe the steps, such as whether you initiate the game using the arad senki website or directly executing the arad.exe found in the hangames directory.

For those of you wondering how to get the harder versions of the dunegeons, here are the information I found from the Japanese wiki of Arad.

EXPART'S ROAD：ノーマルダンジョンをクリア

KING'S ROAD　：マスターダンジョンをランクS以上でクリア

Roughly Translated
Expert's Road: Clear Normal Dungeon

Yeah, you're supposed to get those (victory points) in the arena.

In the other server, I had gotten to Rank 7 I think it was before I couldn't find a match...

Ok first I log on into the site and then I click on game start...the patch luncher lunch correctly so I press start game. Then a black windows lunch then gameguard...After gameguard the game close itself.

Try restarting your computer. I think it's the new gameguard client. Or, just try to reinstall gameguard.

It might be the gameguard. There are some processes that doesn't like to run with it. I used to have the same problem with gunbound's gameguard, and what I did was to close my anti-virus and firewall.

Yeah, the same problem happened with me, and all I needed to do was to restart the application.

I figured it out nway, I moded my card to force some features that I guess this game doesnt support sence its a DirectDraw game.

for 8 of 10 people its a firewall prob ^^

the remaining two have to update their drivers, get some new hardware or just format their pc..

I recently made a summoner and was wondering if anyone had a guide. I know there are two types Contract and Spirit but I don't know what to get for each.

I hope you don't mind me saying but Korean is more advanced then the Japanese one =3 you should play Korean one its pretty easy to get a err card.... i wont tell you how but hint hint google hint hint card list is all you need to google its how i got mines

Gokimaru..i know alot of players want their chars to look cool. There is nothing wrong with that. I recently found out in the korean version you can buy premium items from player shops for a reasonable amount of ingame money. Only catch is..your player has to be lvl 30+ in order to equipt the items.

I do not know much about the japanese version. But in the korean one...i do not think there is anyway to buy cashitems with credit/debt card or any kind of US currency. Unless you go to korea, or find a korean website were you can buy a special game card with a code on it and use it to get cashitems...and thats if they take creditcards.

If you look around you may find some players selling premium items in their shops in the japanese version.

You can buy them from any version just have to check out the player shops for avatars. Also there's some avatars that have no lv requirement and the rest are lv 30. In KR the price is around 200k for the no lv ones. For lv 30 it's basically 430k+ depending on when you check out the shops as you can find some cheaper at like 1am kr time hehe. ^o^ Just save up your money and then go to your local market channels (some even use ch.10). Good luck and have fun shopping like i do hehe. ^o^

hey i got a problem with KR version of dungeon fighter

basically ive downloaded the game, but now when i login, and go gamestart, a black box flashes, for 1-2 seconds, then goes away, and nothing happens.

ive tried the following things:

turn of firewall completely
give exceptions to specific files
opening on firefox and internet explorer
----
i already have the asian language pack installed >.<

Connection in-game is virtually unchanged, and functions fine.

Use it guys, you don't have to switch to the Korean version and lose your characters.

Conceal session? I'm not sure I've seen that one before, but just to give it a try and see if I can help, can you take a picture/print screen of the error and what your VPN looks like when it is running and post it? We might be able to find out more information that way, and using that we have a better chance of helping you.

Yeah it's a ban on all Foreign IP's. If you read the last two pages of this thread or so, it should show you how to get around it. We've come up with a workaround. Anyway, you'll see it in most of the Arad threads.

They got the file, but my only guess is that the same servers are being hit pretty hard for something popular.

Filefront has been hosting PC Game related stuff since like, '98 during the Half-Life days (a PC shooter game). So they are pretty popular with people for getting things like First Person Shooter Modifications.

Just wait it out, it should be clear soon enough.

When you are able to start playing, add me to your list, and message me in game. I will power level ANY Japanese DnF players who play at night like me. If you play in the morning, we got a guy (Forum & InGameName: Suvi) who is looking for other morning players too, and he will team up with you.

Also; I don't know any other BR/Brazilian DnF players like yourself, but when I used to play on private Ragnarok Online servers, I used to know a lot of BR players, and I was in a combined BR & Spanish Speaking Latin American player guild. First things first..

The situation

The chinese have hacked past the line of tolerance and Japan has officially banned the ENTIRE world...

However, we, the foreigners, have figured out a workaround. Mostly in credit to OuterRem and Razon.

This workaround is called VPN. I don't exactly know the details, Rem is much more computer knowledable than I am, however I do know that it connects to a Japanese server called PackiteX or something.. This allows you to login PAST the IP check..

WARNING: You must have a router (THIS MAY BE FALSE) in order to play Arado Senki.. IF you are playing WITHOUT a router and get VPN working past the IP check, please consult OuterRem. This is very important information

After this point YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE IT ON!!!

Just start the game and the install will ensue and you will be PLAAAAYING!!! XD

I would make a list of IGNs but I'd like to ask to make IGNs public from the owners out of respect so that won't be here anytime soon ^^;;

There are two ways to charge cash while you're in a different country. But first you require a friend or two that you can trust. This is how you do it.

1. Tell your trusted friend that you want cash and you're going to send money through mail, (its not expensive) all you need to do is wrap the money tightly then put it in the envelope. don't forget to ask his/her address.


2. Once the money gets to your friend which normally takes around 5~8 days
He/She can buy a culture coupon that can be used to charge cash. but inorder
to do that you must visit www.cultureland.co.kr you need to register
first, you could lend your friends account or let him/her do it instead.

this is how the present thing looks like. The message below the 0 cash says you are short in 10000 cash Charge cash first then purchase it. what they mean about purchasing is the "cera coupons" this coupon lets you send cash
to your friends or whoever you wish to give.

LOL Tsunari, the reason that dude in the other thread asked you about your location is because as far as everybody understands it, Tokyo and Kyoto are two different places. So when Westerners see a location they expect this;

City, State.

Hell fake it if you want, I'm not asking for your location or anything creepy, the only point is that this is the given format. For all we know, you might be listing places you've lived in for a time. The only point is that Tokyo isn't located in Kyoto, and that's how most of us would read what you've written.

Having a guild is great. You can invite up to 300 people. You can communicate better and the guild skills help a little. But when it comes time to lvling up a guild is is the most costly thing. The Higher lvl guild the more gold it takes to lvl 100k,400k,800k+.....

The proxy worked in the afternoon but its not working anymore

The problem with proxies is that they easily change or get blocked, so you'd have to use another one.

You should be relieved that proxies arn't hard to find, you don't get banned by using proxies even though it gets blocked in the other hand.. i can't even think of kssn's changing easily or getting blocked.. thats just too much for a nightmare >_>

In Thailand they block every web site that has anything about free proxy. They try to prevent us from surfing the web freely so if it not a program that auto finds free proxy then I'm screwed.

Unfortunately the cybersyndrome.net web u gave us earlier did work but after couple hours later the web was blocked by my internet provider in Thailand and the proxy I used earlier does not work anymore.

I tried to see the problem from here but I was able to get it to work on my Window 98 laptop so I can't see the problem directly at the moment. Try asking it the "Setting up the proxy...thread" and send pictures of what's going on. Good luck!

What's a good class to start out as?

Gunners:
Ranger is the easiest class to play, complete with attacks that ALWAYS look cool.
Spitfire is his little brother, with less fancy attacks but more grenades.
Launcher is that asshole who kills you in pvp from somewhere else on the map, and extends the same courtesy to monsters.
Mechanic is the guy with all the robots and does a lot of one shot damage with their explosions.

Ghost Knights:
Soul Bringer is the jack of all trades I think, Damage intensive though.
Weapons Master is a Ghost Warrior without the Ghost.
Asura is gimped heavily until the patch.
Berserker is DEFINITELY gimped until the patch. And the patch will probably gimp him more.

Fighters:
Grappler or Striker is (when played effectively) the ultimate badass, but it's not easy or anything.
Nen Master is but often forced to play an awkward long range role that makes no sense.

Mages:
Summoner is the class that annoys all their teammates.
Elemental Master is the proto-mage, you powerup then go into battle, full energy to shields, charging energy cannons SHOWTIME DA! UTE!.
Battle Mage is the masochist's class, play this in order to do battle with yourself, and achieve Nirvana, or don't play it and you get to play a video game like everyone else.

Shit. I left my Xbox controller at a friends house on friday night, so I'm stuck till I can arrange a time when he's at his house so I can pick it up.

I'm Central Time and I play anywhere from 12 pm to 4 am because I work evenings and attend afternoon to evening classes.

What's a good class to start out as?


one of the easiest and best class to start out as to farm and solo efficiently, play a gunner.

one of the best gunner archetypes to solo efficiently and one of the best map/stage/boss killers = launchers and coming in close are mechanics, period.

if u want a challenge, play any type of swordsman, h3ll try an asura/berserker/soulbringer for an even bigger challenge

fighters are excellent miniboss/boss class...well against most boss types i would say, they are not that efficient in soloing higher difficulties as well as clearing maps with the kinda raw efficiency launchers/mechs have.

Summoners are excellent solo class, they do nothng but summon tons of mobs, lag the h3ll out of everyone and watch their summons do the killing, drawback is that they die really really easily if they get hit or cornered. like what outerrem said, he is a sadist, try battlemage if u wanna be one like him too. elemental masters are a decent solo class and damage dealer to a certain extent, again...def/hp problems.

Try to go the the channel that has the same name as the region of the dungeons you are visitings.

Example:
There is a channel called sky castle.

The sky castle area consists of quite a few dungeons, and they're located in the west coast. If you select sky castle as your channel and go to these dungeons, when you clear them you get a exp bonus.

actually diregie is the 2nd server, the first server is cain and the heaviest populated server. the server most of the english players are on is diregie and its considered a relatively new server.

unknownkid : yea there is an emergency maintenance going on now which has been extended to fix 3 very major bugs that was in the patch yesterday lol. 17 hours to patch in act 4, priest, mage updates and new stuffs, and now another few hours to fix something that was supposedly to be working on the test server for some weeks already.

its like a patch to patch the previous patch, hows that for efficiency lol...

anyone making a guild?

I'm recieving an error after the Gameguard checks that i cannot understand, when i click it, it closes Arad. Is Arad still down for maintenance?


Well i'm on my second reinstall now, this time i removed the folder before reinstalling, to ensure that the gameguard files were being renewed when i patched Arad. Sure would be nice to know if my program was messed up or if Arad is simply still down. Guess i'll know more in an hour when the patches are done.

Hey there Alaisia, this post should really be moved to the "Official Help for Arad Senki" thread, but anyways, have you tried putting your Regional Settings under "Japanese"? Cause that's what happen to mines too.
