I mean, Pre-OB phase, don't you people think it is weird to have something like this? Pre-OB is not closed beta, right? Never came across anything like this, it's either Alpha/closed -beta/open - beta, nothing of the word "pre" exists in my memory. If so, I.m.o I think this is some marketing scheme. Maybe right now, they are trying to advertise this game, and after some time when they reached their expectation (Eg; population) , they will go p2p? That's how I thought.

Its going F2p well i don't know about north america. But Korean and japanese had went from p2p to f2p like 2 monthes ago.

Extra : Im not gonna go to north america if NA becomes f2p :P,waste of time.

If they go p2p they will lost huge amount of players.. even if some ppl stay it will only be singaporeans that stay. NA players will move to K2 and Europe players won't bother paying and just go to jGE or quit with GE.

What are you talking about? what article? and how can POB not be true? It's just a phase. It's just called POB because they acknowledge that there's still issues to resolve before they would like to call the phase Open Beta stage. It'll still have issues to resolve then, i think its just name to show players they plan to have a better build for an open beta stage.

You see, if you noticed that little sentence, it can cause a change in your point of view, greatly. After all, it's speculation, and POB phase on my part is just a prediction/guess. I don't see why I am limited to that?
What I am trying to convey is, after closed beta it becomes open beta. Rarely you see games CB -> POB -> OB( In this case, OB = commercial release ).

Unless someone can prove me wrong by saying that POB is CB. Then, I am wrong.

Yah, i dont think OB will be commercial release, 9D had a pre-OB aswell, then went into open beta. 2moons had one, although their POB was more of a alpha testing, restricted to very limited amount of players. I just think POB is simply a name, i dont think they'll be enforcing P2P policy till after open beta.

... Seems more like a way to scam money off of players. So you have to first pay to buy the game, then pay to play the game, and finally pay to have stylish things in the game?

I understand the need for money nowadays. But really, Japan is F2P with cash shop, Korea is F2P with cash shop too.

Until I see a McDonalds store that sells tacos instead of burgers, I'll be seeing this as unreasonably greedy :-/

I'm lvl 52 in the game and I quit simply because they are waiting for most people to get a high lvl char and slap some crazy monthly fee on us which forces us to pay in order to keep our high lvl char. They were supposed to tell us the details July 16th and here it is 10 days later and we still know nothing. Plus this game is a huge grinder... We Americans don't really like to grind alot & I doubt alot of us will pay to grind either. I wont pay more then 8$ a month for this game. Although the quests in this game are SUPER FUN and also SUPER limited.

Yep, grind, but it is not avoidable. Maybe you should try out games like Command and Conquer 3, those you need strategies and skills to start with.

Unlikely it'll be F2P but I still have my hopes it will be.

If not, then I guess I'll stick with other games until something better comes along, this isn't the only anticipated game coming after all.

Unfortunately, they already confirmed a couple of months ago that it WILL be P2P starting before CB(closed beta) which is around August or September.

sorry peeps..honestly though...the game isn't that great...its from the father of ragnarok, but it's DEFINITELY no ragnarok. As I said before in some of my other posts it gets boring fast.

What about the breakfast burrito's? or the "healthy" wraps? they're sorta like tacos :p anyway i'm downloading this game now to try it..i don't usually pay for online games but if this one is really good then i might consider it if it becomes P2P
