is this game any good? i know its free right? and u dont have to buy it, just download it and make an account. does anyone play it, and is it worth downloading?

If you love PvP, it is worth downloading. Although at first you may go, oh crap, these graphics suck! but after I got past that, loved it.
Not alot of people play it anymore tho.

P.S. There are thousands of Shadowbane threads. I suggest you search for some.

yah i did search but i didnt really find anything. maybe it was just me..

anyway i dont think ill download it. it dont look that good, and people say it gets boring fast.

people miss out on alot of good games because of the "graphics suck"(more proof that people care more about pretty colors then gameplay)
the game is MASSIVE it puts most games to shame with content and the possibilities are just emense you can be a vampire mage assassin(they use blood instead of mana) or just go with some classic D&D characters(Minotaur barbarian)
just get passed the graphics and jump in,if you don't play it how can you judge it?

hmm I played shadowbane back when it first came out and was p2p, it's fun and I jumped back on a lil while ago and the graphics honestly aren't that bad. Maybe it's just because I was use to them but they have a distinct look and I never had any problem with them. It's fun and now you can level pretty quickly which is perf for getting right into the pvp. The only boring thing about it may be if you can't find a good guild or group of friends to play with. You can solo most of your levels but it's alot faster with more people. If you do play, just find a good guild and you should be set. Make sure you enjoy PvP because other then that there's not a whole lot of PvE content.

wait now...i tryed shadowbane, it was....kinda bad in my p.o.v. i played it because it has good reviews, soo i didnt really mind the graphics. But what i hate is that 1.) u need a first and last name (which is kinda of lame cause of the names are taken) 2.) there is some kinda of lag in the game. 3.) it was very low populated 4.) if ur gonna play the game u would probably be lost. Oh b4 u flame my comment, yes i gave it 2 chances, and i'm like uughh this game blows. well iono if there is more people playing i might give it another try and if only they fix that damn lag that is going on in the game. So yea just beware of these things.
