Singnet is the one of the biggest broadband and telephony service provider in Singapore. It is also a sponsor of Granado Espada Singapore.

SingNet Gamers First to Conquer Granado Espada

SingNet continues to give gamers the leading edge over their peers by partnering with the industry’s trendsetters.

Granado Espada is the hottest new Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) to hit town. Touted to be the biggest thing to hit the gaming community since World of Warcraft, the game is currently in its Pre Open Beta launch (POBL) stage and already making huge waves within the international gaming community.

Come 31 May 2007, customers who sign up for the 3Mbps Student Unlimited Broadband Plan at the special price of $39.95 per month ( usual price $58 ) will receive a Granado Espada Advance Release Premium Box Set ( worth $49.90 ) available exclusively to SingNet customers. The DVD client will enable customers to immediately enjoy the full version of the POBL game as well as obtain a code that they can key in when the game is commercially launched. This will allow them to become one of the first-in-the-world to access the full version of Granado Espada.

SingNet BroadBand subscribers will also be part of an exclusive group of gamers to enjoy the unfair advantage with an additional 80% Experience Boost for their in-game Granado Espada characters. Called the ‘SingNet Combat Manual’, the special feature will enhance their gameplay and best of all, help them to advance at a faster pace - leaving non-SingNet subscribers in their wake!

In 2006, Granado Espada won the Korean gaming industry’s most prestigious prize - the Grand Prix - and in Singapore, the Infocomm Asia Holdings (IAH) is spearheading an initiative for schools to use the game to introduce students, teachers and principals to online games.

Personal note: I am a Singnet user ^_^

Ouch. Some things I do not understand.

When OB starts, it's B2P?

Haha.. Buy to play.. you have to fork out some money no matter what.

Yes, I presume you will need to enter a code to continue playing after Open Beta. I don't mind at all~ lol

=( Same, but if they implement monthly fees.. lol no way.

The game itself is cheap when the Granado Espada Advance Release Premium Box Set is ( worth $49.90 ).

Premium Box Set.. so normal ones will be around 25-35 SGD?

Really cheap, so foreigners, I wonder how are they going to play this game. I doubt the disc will be available worldwide.

If there are no IP bans, overseas players can ship the DVD over. Its still cheaper than K2's version.

Well worth the price, if they allow Australian connections once it goes into full service, i'd be seriously considering buying it.

PS: You guys have much better internet prices than we do...sigh

They did not specify. Now we are still in the Beta Stage, so they might change their mind during commercial release. Got to play with words :)

Well, it says you get a key to activate your account, so i think thats the most important thing. Seeing as i already have the client, i dont need a dvd. I'm hoping they'll make a system where i can pay online, and they'll just email me a key to activate my account with. Otherwise, they'll probably update the game with no patch/autopatch, for which you must get the dvd, which is just extra trouble imo. But seeing as the activation key seems to be the main purpose of buying the game, i think you'll find the client dvd on a torrent site not too long after it comes out. No need to stress. If you're gonna worry, worry about IP bans, but seeing as you cant change the situation, worrying about that is pretty redundant.

Like I said, if no IP ban is confirmed for the commercial release, everyone will swarm to IAH's servers instead of K2's, even though it will be B2P ^_^

Yah, i dont think IAH actually wants to IP ban anyone, but might actually force IAH to ban NA Ip's due to K2N having the license. I'm not wishing an IP ban on anyone, thats just what i see as the most likely outcome, cos otherwise SoNW is dead before it's even released.
