if your combat most people have sword in their main hand or something and if you have 2 points in improved SS then having a sword in your main hand will do more SS damage and a dagger in off hand will apply poisons quicker

ehhhhhh
combat rogue you wanan duel wield swords =/

but uhh i advise you not to pvp with ur lvl 29 rogue since all these twinks have mongoose enchants...mainly why i quit pvping at 29 since they had mongoose on both weaps (rogues mostly had em) but yea... try to use 2 daggers to dps more, GO IN SUB SPEC SHADOWSTEP PWNS!

You can't have mongoose at level 29.

Shadowstep is good for openers, that is all.

Daggers are burst dps, Swords, fists, and maces are good constant dps.

I'm pretty sure that opening burst damage is a lot more helpful than the 'constant' dps of the combat spec. I've watched videos of both builds being played, and it sure seemed like Shadowstep was killing a lot faster. Combat seemed like more, well, combat oriented, as opposed to Shadowstep, which seemed more like 'get-in-kill-get-out' in the shortest time you can. I don't know though, I haven't played either one yet. I'm definately starting out Combat, because Shadowstep spec is well... useless until level 51?

According to the Armory you're level 46, but anyways that's besides the point.

Just know all the advantages and disadvantages of each spec, know the weapon choices for each of them and choose whichever one you're most comfortable with. Or whichever one fits your current selection of weapons (example, you're using Vanquisher's Sword and it's probably the best thing you can find atm so stick with a spec that compliments swords).

Shadowstep is built to kill fast, but if they survive the initial burst damage you have a lot less control over the fight as compared to many other rogues. Combat is important in PvP now, mainly arenas. Why? It isn't just about who can pull off the most burst damage the fastest anymore.
