its a great anime, what you guys think of it, i watched it all besides the last part of champion's road the ova, the dude on youtube disregarded uploading it =[

manga ftw.

Seen all 75 episodes, the movie, as well as the OVA special. It was pretty good but if you want to see everything, read the manga since it continues the storyline.

Also, you get to see a "real villain", all of the "enemies" in the anime all had good reasons to fight and weren't really villains.

Manga follows Ippo's path toward becoming World Champion, Takamura's quest to get 6 World Champion belts, some new characters and their goals, tells what happens to some of the older opponents like Vorg, Date, Sendo, etc, and goes into more depth on the relationship between Ippo and Kumi.

Wrong, totally possible, just how is that hard to believe? What, a boxing anime can\'t have some romance? >_> Anyways, you should read the manga, sure, it may not be as exciting since its not animated but still, a must watch if your a fan of Hajime no Ippo.
