there is an NA ver...but it's a free trial with a downloadable client

Really? I hope the company suffers greatly for it. Sorry, but good graphics do not make a good game. This game isn't worth p2p let alone b2p as well, and it's terrible imo even for a f2p game. I hope they're into adding some level of customization to the game, as well as unconventional activities to partake in, not to mention some sort of storyline depth. This game will probably tank once people realize they have to pay for this junk.

Well,it's mainly because K2 Network accounced very early the game would be B2P and P2P,IAH didn't annouced what they would do,util now.So everyone has hopes,I guess.

I personally wasn't expecting GE to be free at all,I thought B2P(with item shop,of course) would be just fine.Paying for the game's translation seem fair enough.

And that's the only reason why I am playing GE, some sort of FFXII online..

But to me, GE is not worth pay to play. I rather continue with WoW or Guildwars.

If WoW goes free, will you play it? If eve online goes free will you play it? If LOTRO goes free will you play it??

WoW and EVE Online has already established themselves as great game with high reputations, so if they go free, of course everyone will want to play. On the other hand, GE hasn't established itself as a great game yet (in fact nowhere as good as WoW, Guild Wars and EVE Online in terms of gameplay), so unless GE goes F2P within a year or so it could be too late. Okay maybe if say GE goes F2P in 3 years' time...sure there will have a handful of people playing it, but it certainly won't beat WoW and EVE Online and eventually the hype will drop. It all depends on when GE will actually go F2P (the time frame and if it ever goes F2P).

Well GE is still fairly a young game, so we have yet to see if GE will succeed with P2P and when GE will actually go F2P if it ever goes F2P.

As for LOTRO...to be frank it's better off playing WoW than LOTRO. But we'll just have to see how many subscribers would turn out to have in LOTRO. The movies being highly successful does not necessarily mean LOTRO will be as highly successful in the game industry.

The hilarious thing is the gameplay isn't even that good! :p

What's with all the bashing? Months ago when people were all happy about the game, we were all saying we'd pay for it even if it went P2P. It changes now because the Sings want to make it P2P? Whatever. When I get a new job I'll be glad to pay for it.

Patch 2.0 will probably make it way better than it is at current.
