I would try The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. The story is kind of hard to follow, but it has some good laughing moments.

if u didnt like inukami, then you need to watch more animes(ALOT MORE, and mayb some hentai ones too.). haruhi is not rofl, it's EPICLY over 9000. and retardedly random to be liked. and inukami movie's coming out, would be worth to watch...

Try Cromartie High and Magical Shopping Arcade of Abenoboshi. I saw them when they were on TechTV (or G4, whatever) and it was pretty funny.

One summer event would bring junior high school student Michishio Nagasumi's peaceful life crashing down.

While visiting his hometown, he almost drowns but Seto San, a mermaid, saves his life. However, her family is part of a merfolk mafia, and they abide by a strict rule: If a mermaid is discovered by a man, either he dies, or the mermaid dies. The only exception is if the man becomes a member of the family. When Nagasumi is threatened to either die or join the family, he comes to the conclusion that he must marry San.

Actually, they got it wrong. They figure out an exception to the rule that if the boy were to marry into the family, he too would be considered family and be excused from death. However, even though the father was in support of the idea at first, he's very reluctant at giving away his daughter.

Not to mention the idea that Seto's legs transform bak into a tail any time she's near water (something she would eventually grow out of).

That right ther, combined with several other events (and Seto's child hood friends) make this series laugh out loud.

I believe you should too as I specified that it was the term in English, so you know, I believe you should understand English terms are different from Japanese before trying to correct other people.

Yeah, the English also screwed up the Shoujo-Ai and Yuri terms (I guess they did it with Yaoi and Ahounen-Ai as well since they're basically the same thing only with two different genders).

Yuri is now considered "Girl-Love," when it's explicitly girl/ girl sex. I really don't know how you can mix girl-love and sex around like that. :eye:

Also, try Eureka Seven. Now that I think about it, even though it's an Action/ Sci-Fi/ Romance type of show, it has those parts where it gets really funny.
