Ive seen some screen shots of countstrike looks like new graphics but mine doesnt look like that is there a new version or counterstrike2?? i got the one that came with the HL platinum collection... :confused:

I think there's like two versions. Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, and Counter-Strike: Source. Not sure if there are any other ones.

Counter Strike source is the latest, better graphics and totally different engine.

yea CS 1.6 is so much different ..
I personally like cs 1.6 but its too old...

CS 1.6 is the best, even though it has outdated graphics.

The only way I can play CS1.6 anymore is WCmod, which allows you to level up, use your always maxed out $16000 to buy special items, such as boots to make you run fast, or feather to make you jump high.

But even that I haven't played in probably a year. It's fun though, check it out.

Only problem with WC3 mods and any other "mod" (Diablo II, Rune, Super hero w/e) is that when you get in you start off at leve lvl.1, whilst everyone else is level 10+.. So it's nearly impossible to kill becasuse everyone pciks whichever race has the highest regeneration/hp (Human, if playing WC3 mod). So, they won't die if you shoot 'em in the head.

That's fun though! Level 1 is the coolest, because when you DO kill someone, you get like, massive EXP.

And actually, if you ever played WC3mod, you would know that players from like 1-5 (or something like that I don't remember) get what's called 'Beginners Luck.' It's a skill that you cant take away which gives you random critical hits, high rate of random evasions, and other stuff like that.

So a person with beginners luck is sometimes as hard if not harder to kill than a max Lv.

I like cs 1.6 cuz of kool mods.

I love cs 1.6 but i couldnt play before at all cuz it feels slow and lag :( now im happy ... got a new card yesterday can play with no problem so different... well a bit. video card are only good if u wanna play on high resolution..... if don care about resolution... then heh can get a cheap card :| thats y i got mine for only 150$.



I think that screeshot u saw is counter-strike source i bet.

kk either 2 posiblity .

1) either the Screeny u looked at was CZ (improved gfx of cs/ezier)

2) The person had CZ AND CS ( when u have both games in a steam acc, u get CZ models when u play cs1.6 which is BETTER and seksier lookin)

this is a stupid question but.. i was told that i could get cs for free, no one told me what version but just said i should be able to get free if i download steam... anyone got any info on this?

juz get the game itself, it should be very cheap now.

My favourite is condition zero, it has good graphics, but not as much as source, ill probably like source better, but that includes me buying source <.< which i dont want to lol

Yeah i love CZ, its same physics as 1.6 and better graphics.
