keep them at range, concussive shot, wing clip, intimidation, freeze trap, aspect are great for keeping them at range, as soon as you get hit take of cheeta and put a freeze trap down use a boar or cat or ravager as a pet don't use anything that gives poison if your planning on using a freeze trap, also wats ur spec

hey there, im a 70 hunter and am known well by a lot of people on my server, first of all, to be a great pvper as a hunter, you must play with smarts, never use cheetah, its bad, they can always use a ranged attack on you, which will affect your kiting abilities, always when hamstringed/wingclipped, switch to monkey and start meleeing, theres a lot to learn, such as for druids, you can use scare beast, and instead of trapping them in an ice block, lay a frost trap because it is a lot easier than having to go up and wingclip.

cheeta i'm usually out of their range to do a ranged attack and i prefer freeze as it then gives me range to conc shot

not a normal shot, some type of magic shot (stings, arcane, etc.)

Lets say your arcane shot is the 2 button. This is just one way to do it. Your holding down both mouse buttons to move forward away from a mob. You press the space bar to jump, and while in the air you turn around with the right mouse button held down, press 2 to fire your arcane shot, and then before you land you turn back around and continue to run forward. I suggest practicing on mobs a few levels lower than you (Or if your alliance try kiting a gaurd from camp turajo in the barrens to thunder bluff, thats how I practiced =p) with a lower level ranged weapon. Many mobs don't have ranged attacks so you can use cheetah or pack to practice with. If I can find a video of the technique I'll post it...

You can, but its harder because you can't see where your going.
