What do you guys want more in Marvel movies?Hmmm, from a Marvel movie I'd want better writing, more emphasis on canon storylines, and less "Hollywood".

A good movie for me would be one that hits me very emotionally. For example, Grave of the Fireflies, that is my all time favorite movie.

The best movie would be like 300. An epic movie with a lot of killing.

I'd like it to stick to the original story. I don't know is Fantasic 4 did but Spiderman didn't at all..

The cartoon series. In the Spiderman Cartoon Spiderman was taken over by that alien and the chief of that newspaper saw him commit some crime which is why he hated spiderman. In the movie he just magically hated spiderman for no appearent reason. I'm sure there's a lot more stuff just seeing as I haven't seen the cartoon in so long that's the only thing I can remember off the top of my head..

Jonah Jameson was a top shelf reporter who by constantly throwing a front page monkey wrench into the workings of Organized Crime worked his way to the top of the newspaper business. He hates Spiderman usually for one of two reasons. Either because Spiderman is a dangerous Vigilante who will inspire a legion of children to get themselves killed as they mimic his "heroic" exploits or because he is somewhat jealous of the constant attention Spiderman gets for his street justice. Either way it sells newspapers and that is what J. Jonah is about.
If you're gonna take a moment to argue over cartoons and movies at least read the source material first.

for me personally it depends on the film
action: either A) no plot but tons of killing and kewl explosions, one liners and some dude who only uses one gun that never reloads but can kill whole armies. doesnt matter if main chatacters backstory is nonexistant as long as they blow up a ton of shit with clearly fictitious weapons or B) 'realistic' and brutal with an engaging plot and a real asshole for a badguy who dies in some really imaginative way at the end.
action sci-fi: decent plot with characters that make sense. gritty-industrial-real sci-fi movies like alien are what i like. fucken star wars (the new ones) are an absolute shame to the genre. who the hell puts a stupid wierd alien who cant even talk properly in charge of a whole planet or whatever it was they did with jar-jars character. too much bullcrap and stupid aliens in starwars, plus very VERY gay robots.
thriller: well written and scripted with a twisting plot that isnt predictable or totally cliched... would only expect that in an action flick.
comedy: actually has to be funny.
horror: if i can tell who is going to die and who is going to live after the first 10 minutes... its a bad film.
