It is pretty lame just another game with dumb clothes I mean you can't even see your helmet when you equip it and the monsters are gay fcking purple poop at the first training zone and I mean PURPLE POOP.

I am downloading the game, the game isn't for me. It's for my brother, 8 years old, hope he'll like it.

so far the game is not that interesting. all i had to do so far
is grind. the graphics are also pretty plain

Made it to Level 11 (Mage).
Total disappointment.

- Too grindy even in the early levels.
- The font is way too small, horrible.
- Quests are a total waste of time, horrible rewards for the most part.
- The Skill system sucks (at least as a Mage), the cooldown for Spells is too long, (15seconds cooldown for level 1 ice/lightning bolt wtf ?)
- Battle system is boring, I almost fell asleep.
- Jump is useless, you can't jump over objects.
- WASD doesn't feel right, looks like they built the game around Point & Click and implemented WASD later on.
- Weak character customization.
- Character design sucks, looks too childish.

well u can use ur skill points to lower the cooldown of ur skill...:eye:

I obviously know, but spending skill points on the starting skills is not really a smart move.

I'm done with this game, it's just not fun.

I like the graphics. They're not too bad from what I can tell. Idk yet.

It's propably grindy, and in the bad way. The kind of grind with no reward whatsoever other than a new outfit and a "poof! joo ded" kind of skill every 10 levels. I wanna try it out. I want it to be good. After GE I'm really sick of good foreign games turning english. I don't have high hopes.

Poor graphics, music which needs to be turned of in order to avoid bleeding from ears. Grind, 'interesting quests', crafting which could be scripted in javascript...
C'mon guys, it's yet another asian grindy mmo. If you played rose,flyff and scions of fate you know what to expect. I honestly don't expect this game to get any better with future patches. I may try it later when I have some time but I guess it'll be soon unistalled...

I haven't tried it, I just hate when a new game comes out and people go crazy over it, than a few days later there are a whole bunch of complaints about the game. I might try it after all the n00bs have done complaining, that way I know if its worth it or not xD.

Well yeah, it's only CB. And the CB just started yesterday or somewhere near today if I'm right. It's not going to be the best game right now, but they are going to add more. Closed beta is the buggiest part of the game, that's why they have it. Open beta is more of a "clean everything up and make sure everything looks good and works well" stage. They gave us CB so we could test it. Don't judge the game when it's in CB. If you still think it's crappy when the official release comes, then that's your opinion.

edit: Good game IMO. The graphics are decent, and everything plays nicely. The grind is a little much, but that's because when you gain a level, all of your stats increase, you take a lot less damage, and deal more damage as well. Just at level 3 I was strong, and didn't have much eq to support it. So the grind is for the major stat boost at every level.
The quests are good also, the generic "go here and talk to this person" or "kill X type of X monster". No special quests at the beginning. The armor and weapons are decent looking, and with a higher graded weapon, such as +3 sword of whatever, the weapons get shiny, like in Mu online.

Good game overall.

its actually fun and cute even in CB, im not expecting someting fantabulos i expect what CB gives, things for us to test and find bugs.

The game does have nice graphics and the music is good as well, but it is just another lame f2p game from overseas. The camera and controls are wonky, why they cant have it play similar to WOW with the camera tracking you from behind instead of manually adjusting it is plain dumb. They better watch their asses with DOMO coming soon, I have played DOMO JP and liked it, Nostale was fun too so at least I have them to look forward to. Love the slimes and mushrooms..very original.

try doing kingdom quest once in a while... after u finish it, u usually lvl up.. and u get a treasure box which contains something good... i got a +6 staff and a refine item for +7 and above.

I can't say I found it too interesting. On a side note, anyone saying "it's still closed beta, it will be different" No it won't. Closed Beta for any F2P mmorpg is almost exactly the same as the final product except they claim to have fixed bugs.

gotta say that the advancement job quest is pretty hard.... especially on mage coz we have very poor defense....

Well, in my opinion... the game does not offer anything that is really appealing to me - the graphics are mediocre, music is only alright, and the gameplay is just average... but then again, it's still close beta with a lot of stuff missing, so I dun really know yet.

I've gotten 2 characters, a fighter and a cleric to lvl 20+, and so far it seems just like any other typical asian grindfest mmorpg out there. The only thing that got my attention is the Kingdom Quests, as it's quite fun to party up with a bunch of random people and cooperate to complete your mission. It's always a great alternative to grinding. However, the KD quest gets filled pretty fast even with 5 sessions at regular hours, and this is just the CBT... so imagine when it goes gold.

The grind is not that bad if you're already used to playing asian mmo's, and the quests get significantly more worthwhile as you advance through your lvls. (I'd suggest people to just skip the lvl 1-15 quests as it's not even worth wasting a scroll on the pitiful amount of exp. you get)

Anyways... as I didn't really expect too much from this game, I wasn't really disappointed since it did amuse me for a few days. I'd still recommend this game to people new to asian mmo's though, but this game just won't cut it for me. ^^

ionno why some people think the game has lots of grinding.. its kinda like WoW where yeah u grind really bad if u go pure hunting but if u do all the quests it wont a grind at all... each level u gonna have like 4-5 quests n some are repeatable and whenever its possible do the kingdom quest.. its not that hard to lvl in fiesta online... dont just give up after first 3 lvl n say this is a bad grind... u can lvl up to 20 in a day...

Basically, I played 5 minutes and barfed.

I think this game is decent. But the grind is horrible since the quests suck. They barely give me 5%. Otherwise its a decent game. I'm praying the quests will get more profitable later.

I love the kingdom quest idea, hopefull they have more variety in the classes with all the job changes they are suppose to have.

Omg. The archers in that game suck! I mean a mage can kill a monster in like 4 attacks and the monster attacks them only once or twice. The archer has less skills like 2 and the monster hits archers like 5 times doing 100 dmg. WTF is that? And dex adds points to evasion and aim not damage so people get confused if to add to strenght or dex... pointless...-_-

They give you like 3 quests per lvl and if you do one quest you lvl up... So you're stuck with like 20 quests...

Somehow, I really enjoyed playing Fiesta. And the grind isn't that bad, it was fairly simple hitting level 10 in one day. What I really enjoyed was the Kingdom Quest, not many games let you interact with other people so early on. The quests at the lower levels just sucked. Come on, 3 exp and 9 copper for a freaking quest that took me 5min to do, I could've gotten about 100exp in that time.

About the classes, I only tried Cleric. The moment I got into the game I saw loads of Clerics wich was odd. I thought no one would play Cleric(as they usually suck at solo-ing) but WRONG-O~ Imo, cleric is kind of overpowered, they can melee really good and they can also heal and buff themselves.

I'm not going to play until OB so I hope to see some of you then. Maybe we can Kingdom quest together ^_^

Omg. The archers in that game suck! I mean a mage can kill a monster in like 4 attacks and the monster attacks them only once or twice. The archer has less skills like 2 and the monster hits archers like 5 times doing 100 dmg. WTF is that? why dont u try being a mage ?? mage has very low HP n DEF... monsters can 1 hit kill you.. u think thats easy ?? our damage output is big because we have to kill the monster before it reaches us... or we're screwed..

It is pretty lame just another game with dumb clothes I mean you can't even see your helmet when you equip it and the monsters are gay fcking purple poop at the first training zone and I mean PURPLE POOP.

The game was so grindy, it's like you have to kill 100 mobs just to get lvl 3, I can't imagine being a lvl 20...

GunTrix should not waste time being a GM there...

And you know what...CB is a very important part of being a successfull game. If the game has a bad rating on CB what else would you expect on OB or final version. CB is the one that determines if the game has a chance to be a good game even tho bugs are there, there should be something that players would hold on to before OB. Why do you keep saying it's CB? Yeah it's CB, where the game is messed up and all that. But why do they release the game on CB if they know most parts of the game is just messed up or bugged? They aren't that stupid? Are they? You can't make an excuse "it's only CB so the game isn't that good yet." Well how do you expect a game to be better when you have bad start with it?...

It's a pretty good game with a nice community. KQs help out with the grind so it's no big deal.

False, its not grindy, have you ever done KQ quests? oh and in open beta they will surely open the other KQ's so it will be easy to level past lvl 17 too.

I have yet to try this game, despite what people might say any game should be good enough to take away boredom.

I think it was great. The way they spread out the quests was brill and at times challenging.

That's not to say it didn't have it's fair share of bugs. Quests were a bg one. Trying to walk up those stairs was another. If an even is happening and nearly half of the community is all gathered neatly in one spot the lag is tremendously bad(Might be a RAM issue... 512MB XD).

Lvling up and stats were good. Upgrading was hell but I'm not complaining. Monster and their skills were questionable but effective.

Class wise it was a bit simple, also not much in the way of custimization...

but if you can get past that, it's not all that bad, its not grindy and has its fun moments. Plan to go back for Cb2 :p

I played fiesta and it's not thw best or the worst mmo. Hopefully tomorrow when the CB2 is out they will have more features and stuff. From what I have played it looks like it will be a decent mmo when it comes out.

Well, I'll find out if it's good or bad tomorrow when Fiesta Closed Beta 2 begins.

You can also use WASD to move, so what's the big deal if it is click to move anyway?

The game is rather fun actually, I don't normally enjoy many free2play MMO's simply because they cannot compete with pay2pay games normally both in content and features. But this game just "seems" fun and I like it so far. I'm having a hell of a hard time leveling up past level 8 right now, but no biggie.

I agree, I had such high hopes. But then again, it is only closed beta - and supposedly the full game has many features that have not been implemented yet.

The graphics are pretty weird, but decent. I actually think the game has potential. It reminds me A LOT of LOTRO (with the fame, titles, and mining/crafting). It also, has a very decent amount of quests and is very party oriented. Leveling is quite simple, and getting a good weapon and gear is not ridiculously expensive. I'm actually addicted to it. O_o

If you couldn't tell by the fact the game was free, and by watching the video on the site, that it would be no more than an epic grindfest with nothing special to offer, you're in for a lot of disappointments in life.

I think I posted in this topic already when it was created, but I wasn't disappointed in fiesta because I didn't expect anything more than another bad korean grindfest.

I personally don't think it's that bad of a grindfest as everyone says. Honestly, it took me not long to level to 20.. ><;; I love the features of KQs. It's like an instant jump of levels on your first KQ, and later on, one KQ (which takes about 30-50 mins i think), would probably equal to 3 hours of constant grinding. I also like the quests. I think it gives you a lot of XP. ._. I think this game is good considering how a lot of features in most games don't come later on, this game already has. For example, guilds, cash shop (store), KQs. :S

I liked Fiesta as well and it wasnt very grindy to me as long as you don't go with lower lvs to grind with them. A range of 5 lvs is decent but anything more is a waste of time. Only reason why i have taken a break from it is cause of other games im trying out. The only downside was the basic classes but other than that i loved it. ^o^

For all you people who say you played the game for 5 minutes or less, your opinion doesnt count, because you fail at life, and you dont understand how to play mmo's.

It is impossible to experience 100% of any game ever made EVER, in 5 minutes. By playing for 5 minutes and "barfing" and then quitting, and then posting about it just makes you look like an idiot.

The people who say the gfx suck, you need to evaulate why you even bothered to play, its not like the screen shots or videos hade L2 graphics and then when you played it you found out the gfx were like they are.

As for you people saying its a huge grindfest and it takes 100mobs to get to level 3, Well thats true... IF YOU GRIND ON THE LEVEL ONE MONSTER THE ENTIRE TIME.

Try looking for tougher monsters next time that give more xp, i bet you stupid noobs were grinding on the "purple poop" the whole time and got sick of the "grindfest".

This game isnt a grindfest, especially not at level 3.


Kingdom quests start at level 5, and they go for every level now. There's 5 sessions of KQ every 2 hours, and getting in them is fairly easy.

when im waiting for 'MY-Eng Perfect World' or 'Seal Online'...

i played till lv 28 in CBT2 (mabukcleric) just hit 28 and needed like 32k exp till 29...
umm... but then im running out of quest to do... so i had to grind with my fren and wait for Kingdom Quest(which can join every 2hrs and its hard to join sometimes cuz so many ppl in 1 server, unless u do the relog thing which helps alot to get in to KQ), the KQ gives nice exp and nice item(if your lucky!)... and its fun too... like team workin in KQ(instance u could say)...

The 2 points that i like in Fiesta is = Kingdom Quest and The stall system which you can sell and buy stuff that u needed to make pots, scrolls, enhanment stones and so on...(more profession skills is coming soon i guess)

One bad point that i realise is...~$ MONEY $~ when u hit lv 20... and changed ur job... u realise that ur skills, weapon and armory are so darn expensive...!!~~
Especially when ur lv 20 + and u r refining ur weapon(based on luck!) and it broke *OMG*, you dont want to imagine how it feels.. when u have low cash and without any weapon at all(unless you got Godly Fist... which can punch mobs 1000 dmg each time lol)
(*Yikes* i wonder wats the price for ur skills, weapons and armory when u changed 3rd job = lv 60... Ahh.... *Dont want to KNOW!!*)

I suggest having 2 computers and 2 accounts : 1 account purely for making money, crafting, and playing the economy : and the other for your main character, leveling and such while the other account is selling stuff.

Im level 18 with over 55silver crafting/selling tier 1 stuff. :3

There's something charming and fun about it to me, though I must admit, the resting system could've been better.
And I was in closed beta when they tested the item shop.
I didn't like how the items were programmed to only last a week, though I understand it's not the only online game that does that.
