Well title says pretty much everything... I'd like to know if there is a software package which lets u make SIDE SCROLLING rpgs. Thx for help guys!

What do you mean by 'side scrolling'? You mean battles that occur in a side view? If so, try out RPG Toolkit: http://www.toolkitzone.com/

When I say side scrolling I mean maplestory and the like. Thx for the link but it says I need some programming knowledge...and frankly I have none... I'd like something like RPG MAKER XP that doesn't need any programming knowledge.

RMXP doesnt need programming knowledge at all!
thats the point of RMXP...
other then that i dont know of any other engine that you can make a game without and scripting knowledge
