to heal summons you need summon healing pots. They need to be made by a high level medicine maker, and the materials aren't exactly easy to find at the moment.

it is best to just make the summons stand instead of attacking, they are usually too weak to be of much help for quite a while. they will gain xp when you attack, if you want them to attack just once, then hold shift and click on a creature,
