View Full Version : Please do not discuss about KSSN's

Do not talk about KSSN's here. It's illegal to talk about them and asking for one or any other stuff. If you're not korean, then you can't have one because it's against the law and you can go to court and maybe be in prison for a while. Only koreans have KSSN's (Korean Social Security Number) and no one else that's korean should have one. If any korean finds out you have a KSSN, then you're caught and you better be careful because they might or will tell someone in there home country that you have one. So please, do not talk about them or even post a thread about one.

Well spoken.
but how about this fictious scenario in reguards to kssn:
The korean gaming industrie that adopts this method of registration,
have left themselves open to future litigation!
Playing games for long periods of time does cause hidden health risks.
The koreans and other asian countrys who have adopted to this very personal ID registry.
simply put "may I have your passport please, I now need to record you"
It seems they think they have found a new preventive way of stopping westerners from applying to there games!
we sorta hope this backfires in there face!
The intricate method of id registrations the asians are doing seem far too personal and extreme!
they are not to realise,
they are actually making very concrete evidence for these individuals to later sue the game company for health risks,
that may incur to them in the future! :D
The western world has "freedom of registry".
which seem to realise a risk maybe,
they really don't give too much of dam,
where you are from, or who you are.
as long as you pay, get in or test it out! and leave with no quarrels.
yep that maybe a load of bull.
But I just loath this dam method of registration and it sucks bigtime!
it causes too many people to defy the laws.
its a grave shame, that a playing a game in asia!
means giving away your life and your privacy!
japan at least gains "respect" to me,
they don't imply such hash rules and regulations.
like neither does the west.
Or are we just around the corner.

A lot of games do but you can usually put anything down - KSSNS are usually checked.

You will get fined for using others KSSN to register any games and even been jailed in your respective country up to 3 years and fine for 100k won ( i know its little compare to USD ). Punishment will be heavier if you use the illegal KSSN generator.
Source : Cabal Online registration site / korean friend through MSN.
Result : i quit my korean dekaron online. And felt abit sinful now ^^

Actually, they can't prosecute you outside of Korea - it was a topic that came up a long time back.
And Corasked, it would mean you're still liable for it.

what if someone makes the account for u?
Still illegal.
If the government or the game company finds out (very unlikely to happen but)
the least they'll do is ban your account and/or they can possibly find who you are and etc to fine either you or owner of the KSSN and either charge respectively or serve some time in jail.

Wrong, IP trackers, yes, go ahead use a proxy... but guess what, you can still see what the IP is behind a proxy easily..

Lool this is funny realy realy funny, maybe you can go to supreme court of UE if your from europe, but maybe, but.. you can be bring to justice with the laws of other countryies, what will happened if koreean president come to your country and convicted you for 2 years in prison because of the laws in his country, they dont have power outside the box(Country), so dont worry the worst thing they can do is to ban your ip, read the laws, and dont worry about the laws of other countrys :D.

actually they can't do crap in their own country as well. lets see, its like their 1year or 2nd year they have so called "highered their security and the law thingys" *when i have seen no one go to jail* it would come on news if someone gets caught o.o;; "yes there was one old man that got caught but thats probbly bull" lol

Not really. For those games allow 1 account per KSSN, then the players will make use of other KSSNs to create more accounts (Not to say FAKE KSSN, cause it's just unused, but could exist).

F.U. NZROCK! (yes, captials were on purpose). Anyways, you shouldn't blame him for his english, you started like that too... when you were probably 6. Anyways, I think he means CN, not CA (CA could mean lots of things like maybe a state in the US? Canada? etc).
And if you don't know what CN means, it means China/Chinese depending on how to you use it I guess.

Ok guys, Lets end this once and for all, for people who want KSSN, just stop, why? Because it's morally and ethically wrong, I mean think about it, you are actually STEALING someone's information just to try out a game that you probably wouldn't last a week on. Ask yourself this question: Would you like it if someone used your information to do something? isn't that identity theft? Think about others and put yourself in thier shoes, aren't games polluting the net? There is enough to satisfy your thrill so why would you go to extreme measures such as stealing someone's "KSSN" just so you can play THAT particular game?
Don't flame people because they won't give you thier information, don't spam the question of getting a KSSN, whether you get caught by law or you don't, you should not TAKE what is not YOURS. If you want to play THAT badly, just be a damn resident of korea and play =/ (you probably want to strech your eyes a bit just to make sure)

At least Korean prison is in Korea.
XD
See ya later guys I'm off to be a Korean for the next 5 years.
I remember when Koreans got pwned by Arenanet. Perhaps it was Taiwan? I dunnp, but one of those countries made it illegal to ban botters, so Arenanet just disconnected the Korean server from the rest of the Guild Wars community. It was awesome.

Why take what you can make? Hell, you can probably find 8billio private servers for the game you're looking to play over in Korea.
