Like no one talks about it, i just read the review in the voyage century section
http://www.onrpg.com/boards/39029.html
And it sounds really fun, i mean it sounds like runescape with wayyy better graphics and sailing. Can anyone who played the game tell me what's bad about it?
The thing that made me quit was not only the graphics, but the very sketchy game play. Try it for yourself.

the game just gets boring and plus its been out for some time now so everyone is tired of it because they played it in the first few weeks.

It does get boring after a while. It's good, but it's not something most people will keep playing in the long run.

There's nothing bad about the game at all,
I enjoyed - enjoy it.
I get sidetracked by other releases,
so this game has ended up in my outta hard drive.
when i turn it on, i'll zap through and maybe blow a few ships up,
runaround grabbing treasure, its cool,
the graphs are low, but the game itself is very good.

I haven't tried it, I just didn't think it looked fun. From what I gathered it was colonial style, and that was by far my least favorite era in History class.<_<

Yes, I was in the closed beta and believe me, i reeeeeeally had a huge personal hype for the game, and i was so ready for it to be amazing, and it was, but frankly there wasn't enough stuff to do in total... there were many skills to do and whatnot, and alot of cool techniques to use, not to mention clothing and weapons, some great indoor maps, beautiful churches...
BUUUUT:
1. The best way to make money is long distance trades, and they take a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time (like at least 20 minutes for a decent trade and that doesn't even make you that much money)
2. The prison you get sent to if you kill a guard in a city, takes an eternity to end...
3. All town maps, though they all have a unique style, they all have an extremely similar layout
but i only played it in closed beta and part of open beta.
the game definately had some really fun aspects to it as well, but there's no way i could have stuck with it, a bunch of friends at the time started playing wow and i don't like that game so i had nobody to play it with, that certianly didn't help it either.

Discovery Online will be out soon. Concept is somewhat the same but it will have anime like characters but realistic environment.

Although it's a good game, VCO isn't very newbie freindly, in my opinion.
It's still a nice game I enjoyed very much.
