Hi there,I'm basically an Anime noob, I've only seen a couple shows, (most of which I have only watched a couple episodes) anyways, I was wandering if you guys could help me? I've been searching for an Anime with without magic, or superpowers or anything like that. I would like it to be like Ghost in the shell, with a futuristic look to it. I really like the run down urban city theme, kind of like this.

So yeah, if you guys know of any Anime shows that are kind of like this, please post them here, I wanna start watching a new show, but I don't like being tired of it half way threw the 1st season.

Desert Punk -- Post Apocolyptic desert scene in which humanity is scattered. Few have gaine power through the lost technology that dammed the Earth and choose to keep the technology from advanceing any further to protect the human future; however, they are a corupt gov't that even though they do what they do for the future, the live n the now. -- The story follows a desert mercinary, unfortinuate enough to live outside the great dome. He wanders the desert performing jobs offered by his merc rep, and despite his short figure and scrawny look, he is know as the "Demon of the Desert," the legendary "Desert Punk."

Note: You'll want to watch the dubs for this one, as the dub (despite the terrible voice acting) is far more entertaining, comedy wise.

note2: The desert caves are actually in fact old office building that have decade for many decades, or perhaps centuries (they never really say how long it has been)

I say this because, well Its a very good show that has a city thats constantly being destroyed. There is a battle between Two oposing forces, This is sorta set into the "urban furture" because there is a lot of high tech-nology in it. There is a run down city xD! and a secret place under the city which is owned by an orginization!
