Miyazaki, what a great film maker...
It sounds kiddish, but I loved the heartwarming and touching films directed by him. My favorite movies by him are Kiki's Delivery Service & Spirited away. Those movies cheer me up when I'm down. They both show the hardships of being alone. Even with people all around you, even when having both a mother and father, you feel alone. Kiki's Delivery service truely made me feel "right at home", Somtimes I feel like an outsider, someone who can't make it in the real world, someone who had little and careless freinds. I feel isolated, and taunted to do well at things to impress someone just for there sympathy. I felt like kiki, unable to find her place in the world...The way the film was made, truley made me feel alive.

Spirited away was a great film too, it really drove "common sense" into my head lol. This film shows how abstract a childs mind can be. Sen feels so isolated, after moving away from her freinds and everything she knew, she ends up being trapped in an abstract abandoned amusement park where the spirits rome. Her parents are taken away from her, she knows no one, if she aproches anyone she would be taken away too. Haku, played a huge role in this movie, he was the only one that kept Sen from passing into the spirit world and loosing her sanity. I felt like when I had nobody, There would always be a somthing that I could count on.

Bleh what am i talking about, I can't even explain any of this correctly, I am one complex person >_< lol,

Anyways does anyone feel in some sense the same way?

I have yet to see Castle in the sky, and Naussica valley of wind.

You aren't the only one. In terms of art, hiis compositions are great, and stories fantastic. I swear. When Toonami had that Miyazaki special, I actually sat there and watched all his movies. Even the ones dating back to the 1980s.

Yah in terms of art his stories are very well done, even the music is loveable >_< lol

Cool, yeah I think the first movie I watched by him was My neighbour Totoro lol.
