Okay i need a media player that is made to take screen shots or video caps. or at least a program that can do that. because i have 4.8 gigs of anime on my comp. and i wanna make some amv's. My windows media player won't work so that's out. winamp blows. vlc kinda sucks in screen shot department. i have game cam pro but that doesn't work on any media player. can anyone help me?

Ah, I see, splitting the video. Well, if you want to split it the way wmm does, your gonna have to use wmm. Or use Sony Vegas and split it manually. Sony Vegas is a professional video editor, fyi. PM me if you need help with anything else, k?

lol. no i don't want to have to split it. i was hoping for something that works a bit like fraps maybe.

This is a hard thing to do because of how the video is displayed in media players. It is a seperate over-lay, not at the desktop level. So simply pressing "Prt Scr" doesn't work. And I don't know of any programs that will grab it.
I know there is a key command in windows media player that will grab images but what that is I can't remember, and I know that Quicktime player can take a whole video and make it into a series of images(there are many settings on how it will take the images from the video)

But really, other than that I can't help you.
