I've found I've had this problem with the last few games I've been downloading [currently Hero Online]
Whenever I press play/start game, it opens up the protection thing, then just closes the client, can you suggest what's wrong please?
EDIT: Yes I've tried with my firewall off, it still doesn't work.

Maybe you have a bad graphics card or your system can't handle games for some other reason (like it's old).

Is it a new thing? Like can it still open WoW and those others now?

People never read the posts. -_- Are you sure your computer meets all the requirements of said games? If not, you could always stick with the ones that you are able to play, though it might get boring after a while.

Either the protection thing is not updating, or the protection thing is missing a file.
