Anyone here get the 360 demo? I was absolutely floored. This is easily the best skateboarding game ever released.

For those of you who don't know, Skate is a skateboarding game that abandons the old Tony Hawk button mashing combos and goes for something more realistic and difficult. Ollies, fliptricks, and most everything is controlled with the right stick, X and A use your feet to push you along, the triggers are used for grabs, and the left stick is used for normal movement.

It also features something called skate.reel that lets you edit and record lines. You can then upload them to the EA skate.reel server.

Skate Reel sound's like a cool feature. Though I haven't played anything skating after Tony Hawk's Underground 2(big disappointment).

This is definitely nothing like other skateboarding games. Grinds are done by jumping and then poisitioning the board to land on it just right. You can't just hit a button and magnet on to the rail.

I'll wait till the PS3 demo come's it.

I just got done with it and let me tell you.... I was AMAZED it was so much fun. It will blow any tony hawk game ever made.

IMO it is lol. First it was a maybe buy but now Its a definite buy. I loved it... Realistic too.

It ****ing owns. It reminds if I was in controlling a skater in a skate video. Oh yeah Rob + Big blow. Paul Rodriguez and PJ Ladd for the win.

yeah, skate might be one of my many buyers I'm looking at for the next few months. Damn, I need money. LOTS of money.

Both of which I was highly impressed with. We should be getting atleast one more this Thursday (forgot which) because it's already on the Japanese servers. I'm starting to like this 2 demos a week we've been getting lol... I actually feel as though I'm using this 60GB hard drive..

EDIT: It's the Folklore demo and it's on the UK servers.

I love how smooth and lifelike the skating is. Tony Hawk always felt too superhuman with the jerky physics. The only thing I enjoyed about TH games was building a skate park with a buttload of spikes and death traps.

Oh man. This is one of the reasons I need a 360. I played all the TH games up until THUG, so I pretty much still like skating games. :O *Needs to get this.*
