The game sucks, and is more shitty then ever since they made it P2P with the same graphics and the same shit.

Bounty Bay is P2P and exactly the same as Voyage Century but for some reason, some would rather play Bounty Bay than Voyage Century.
This is due to Voyage Century's GM's who don't even speak English, if you asked them for any form of help, they would reply: "Sorry, I do not understand English."
The main reason for the failure of Voyage Century is the clan Dynasty_Ming which is a Chinese Clan created by IGG (the hosts) themselves which was used to crush all the former clans in power. All the remaining clans united against them but they couldn't stop them (Dynasty_Ming was made up of new players but somehow, in a short time, surpassed all the players that had been playing for months). After taking over all the major cities, they would hand control over to "weak noob" clans who would run all the cities like idiots. If they were attacked, they would just request aid from Dynasty_Ming (one of their players could wipe out 10+).
Eventually, two players stood up against Dynasty_Ming while the rest of the player base lived in fear and they somehow won against the great enemy. One week after their victory, there was celebration everywhere, until those two players were deleted for no reason by the GMs.
It is known that IGG created that clan in order to force other "hard-working" players into buying Cash Shop items. So, who thinks this is smart? Despicable?
It sounds just like a plot that would appear in a Shonen anime....o_O...I mean, evil empire taking over the world, one final united defense, a reign of terror, two heroes rising to fight this evil threat.

Voyage Century truly had the potential to become one of the greatest, if not greatest mmorpg out there surpassing both F2P and P2P mmorpgs. If only a couple things were different, and the game was raised in a different path...

I don't know whether I should be shocked, or hate IGG with a burning passion. Scaring people into buying stuff from their cash shop? That's complete insanity. D:
