I was looking for a MMO with alot of "Get into parties of 5+ and grind the hell out of a dungeon" I'm kinda bored of playing solo. Was trying out some Rappelz, but not high enough to do a DP yet. Any other games with some decent group/party play?

Well it's not free and it's not grindy but GW forces you to party....I like that system.

Final fantasy online after level 10 is purely party based. Unless you're a beastmaster, or puppet master.

I've been meaning to try SRO, but I have a question, can you turn the blood off? My mom goes a little nuts when she sees blood. [The SDA thing, if you were one you would understand]

Flyff, its a great way to party, not many dungeons until later on.
Trickster, u need party to get the best xp, leveling is extremely fast, get to lvl 50 in only like 5 hours, if u know where to level. when ur lvl 50 u can start going for the bosses. which is like dungeon raiding.

flyff - team up or ur gonna level very slowly =]
sword of a new world - u control 3 so u got a group, then u can also party with people and there group of 3 so it makes many =D

I have played Knight Online and Guild Wars I like both because of the party systems but Knight Online isnt the prettiest game out there it was still pretty sweet.

if you live in phillipine try PW, a dungeon every 10 level starting from level 19. You have to do the dungeon quest or else you can't learn new tech. So that's a classic party forcer right there.

Bleh according to you guys every game is a party grind.
If you want a game that is based mostly on party and grind, play MU online. It's very difficult to party alone once you are around 30. If you do solo, it takes a VERY long time to kill. I remember when I was playing it, it took me around a minute or two to kill a skeleton warrior (lvl32) with my level 33 wizard.
Ragnarok - You can party with only two people to do lighthalzen. Just as long as that mate is a priest. And lighthalzen isn't even a grind. Around 0.1 per monster going from 98 to 99 with a party of 2. And I'm talking about iRO.
FlyFF - Same thing, all you need is a ringmaster to be able to grind all you want.
Edit* Ahhh yes Perfect World. It's a very good party based game. Once you get to a high level monsters are very difficult to kill.

Yeah go with lineage 2, Sword of the new world is grindy once u hit like 50, youll be partying with people a lot, RF Online is grindy as hell, once u reach like lvl 25+ youll be partying with hella lots of people. Lineage 2 is still the best one to party grind with, since ull be doing boss raids ect with huge parties.

i'm surprised 2moons wasn't mentioned..
the quests are almost useless, 95% of the leveling you do is grinding..it's more fun with a party.. so 2moons i'd say

As much as I hate to say it, FlyFF. You're basically required to party with an assist unless you are one.
FFXI even moreso. You essentially can't level without one, unless you're a MAD grinder.
you could try Scions of Fate

Phantasy Star Universe pretty much requires you to party.

Party of 5+ People eh?
Well, FFXI is a given. It is one of the most party-oriented based MMOs ever and it gets really fun once you hit your first party, however, finding a party can take a very long time.
2Moons is pretty much party oriented after level 50. You have a tank that goes forward and lures the mobs as your party moves along. You have the healer that heals the tank and uses AoE heals. And you have the AoErs that do the damage in the party. Level 50 is sort of hard to achieve since this game is really grindy from 13~33 but from 7~12 and 34~48 you can do solo instance dungeons that give alot of exp.
As mentioned before the Silkroad European class system is strongly party based and it can be fun at sometimes but it can also be torture.
So, with that in mind:
Go FFXI if you like slow-paced menu/macro skills with nice graphics and a great storyline(and you can afford to pay it)
Go 2moons if you like some solo play and you also like fast-paced gameplay combined with area of effect leveling(like, always)
Go Silkroad European class if you like a party with a straight grind.
IMO: FFXI is your best bet for party MMOs.

i'd love to party with ppl but i dont seem to be able to find parties much in mmorpg's (not including ones like Lunia with stages)
only ones i can think of is ROSE online and GTH...they're like ones you cant lvl up unless you party
Want a huge party grind?
FFXI
your basically forced to party past level 10, and even then it takes forever to level
Have fun :D

You need a full Advance party for more exp. :hmm:
Guild Wars,Phantasy Star Universe and Final Fantasy 11.
Guild wars, the original, and Factions required you to party.I'm playing Nightfall now and i've never went into a party yet...I'm only at the first island, thought.
Eye of The North is the same:Playied throught the preview weekend and i didn't even party once.
Phantasy Star Universe and FFXI require you to party. You can't solo,it's suicide. Also both are tons of fun, especialy FFXI.

no RF?...
when you reach lvl 40 the grind starts with 5-8 (depending on their equipment) member in your party...trust me...this is what your looking for

RF online...well party to lvl then party to rape in the chip wars
Tabula rasa very much a group orrinated game when it goes ob i would reccomend
PSU..like everyone said u need parties
Maple story: takes the erugh out of grinding depending

like said before perfect world is your best bet it's not really a grind until level70+ and even then with a party it's not bad you only notice the real grindat about 80+ and the max level is 105 right now but also theres instances which require big partys to complete, theres territorial wars which require pvp partys, theres city invasions by monsters which require a huge amount of teamwork or your going to lose your city and also at higher levels it's borderline impossible to solo against the mobs because they become really strong...

sword of the new world is great in partys. well u have urself always a 3 man group.
this game is awesome..has very nice graphics....awesome looking skills and alot huge dungeons.
u can put ur items on auctionary house..like in WoW..u can enchant and get UPC cards from npcs..u have to solve some quests first or duel them..tzhen u can use them in ur party.
leveling in party (squad) is alot easier in higher dungeons..

Well it's not free and it's not grindy but GW forces you to party....I like that system.
LMAO no, Guild Wars doesn't have any type of grind related with it at all, unless you're grinding PvP for faction.
FFXI has a pretty hardcore, required party grind.
Lineage 2
ROSE Online (Although there are a few classes that can solo all the way)
I think Lineage 2 and Maple Story are going to be your best bets if you're looking for a grind. :)
