Thanks to you guys and this [awesome] forum, I'm probably going to fail the exam, lol. So post EVERYTHING about Java here. Classes, commands, etc. I need it all!!! For Gr.11 Computer Science class.

Just tell them Java is against your religion and you refuse to use such a bulky, slow badly made piece of crap excuse for a programming language.
Otherwise ask Saint, he seems to like it..

But on a serious note, unless you have specific questions I dont think anyone's gonna help you here. If you want it all covered there's hundreds of java tutorial's out there.
Good luck with your exam, and if I ever find the person that thinks it's clever to teach children java i'll do unspeakable things to his nipples.

It is not our fault, everyone is responsible for their own actions, and take it from me I'm a huge procrastinator and it leads me into the situations were I'll fail or loose marks and not finish assignments.
To tell you the truth, I don’t feel any pity on you if you don’t pass your grade 11 Computer Science Class. Not because I'm a jerk, but because it makes me angry and jealous when people have such classes and resources available to them that I don’t and would love to take advantage of, and they piddle them away. If I was in your position, and say I did get to the point were I needed to learn this, I would take pleasure in learning as much as I could about one programming language in a single sleepless night. In my school, there is one teacher who can actually teach a single computer course, and I know more than he does, he's also about 60 years old and teaches you about hardware and software from about 8 years ago. I knew about as much as he did 4 years ago... and our Administrator/IT for our school network uses a teacher assistant program to lock everyone out and limit what they can do, he doesn’t even know how to clean out the logs and maintain the servers so they don’t crash ever week.
Sorry... I'm done complaining and ranting, but maybe you have a better idea of how the kids at are school don’t even get the option to learn something useful with computers, never mind have a choice of what we want to learn in computer subjects. I've had to teach myself everything I know about computers, even programming/web programming and computer graphics as of now, because my school won’t have me prepared for the computer science course I'm taking for post-secondary, even if I do well in my perquisite classes.
Anyways good luck,
-PB

You've got a book for the class Im sure. The test will be over the content in that book. Study like a student should, and you'll pass.

To each his own.

Nope. We don't have a book for the class.
And I meant that "thanks to you guys" thing as a nice thing lol cause the forum pwns more than class does. And woot! The exam is in less than 12 hours.

Yeah, I'd be more then happy to help, if I know where your problems are. I've been coding Java professionally for over 5 years now, so I think I know my stuff.

Yeah right. Do a bit of research before you make such prejudice, callous statements like that. It sure has a heck of a lot of million-dollar projects using it to be crap. Don't make those remarks anymore around here, please.

The only reason I like Java is becaust client.java is fun to play with ;). It's relatively easy to learn anyway. TLM is just a spoil sport.
