im sorry but gw or as i like to call it crack wars is like teh suck! i just find mmo's boring and though this one did a very good job of making combat more intense its nothing compared to the thrills i get while playin battlefield 2, day of defeat source or half life 2 deathmatch. also the game makes it so hard to talk to freinds without a mic. and x-fire or ventrilo what with the frantic chat screens. also the game is third person and yes i know there really aren't any first person mmo's like planetside but it bothers me. dont get me wrong rpg's are fantastic and im super hardcore. ive playe vampire the masquread bloodline, neverwinter nights, baldurs gate shadow of am, kotor 1 and 2, final fantasy 7, morrowind and those are off the top of my head. there are so many things that mo's do wrong if they made an mmo like oblivion im so there! till then.

seriously, do you really have to take 5min out of everyones life to say that. come on and grow up. if you dont like it, dont tell us. keep it to yourself.

and of course a war game is gonna have more intense battles. but im sure if you played GW long enough to get into a party and fight mobs of hi lvl monsters then you wouldnt be saying this. cuz it has some of the craziest battles ive seen in a mmo, other than ff11.

i know ur sortve new and everything but we dont really care about topics that say Guild Wars sucks and u cant compare a CORPG with a FPS there both two different things i must agree BF2 (dont have it but played it before) is really nice but ive been playing Guild Wars for 13 months and if u give it a chance it can be really fun.

i love rpg's but ive actually lost freinds to guild wars its consmed their lives i couldn't change the title of the post which is what i intended srry for coming into here and having nothing nice to say. its a good game but i wanted to point out flaws and my opinion. if anyone can chang the topic please do it was gonna be a joke on people that reply less than a minute after posting. again srry i like the game just wanted to have an intelligent debate:p

Welll when i played Guild Wars, i couldnt get enough of it. I like the characters, the fact you can be 2 classes, the graphics. Wow. I even liked the wide variety of skills, missions and pvp. SlipKnot is right, if you give Guild Wars a chance its really a fun game.

i did give it a chance (a 40 hr. chance) and it is like all mmo's in the respect its repetitve and redundant. also i feel it's justified comparing a top notch shooter to a top notch mmo as they both cost money and u should use that money wisely.
