What's you guys worse mmorpg ever?

hmm....the worst mmorpg i have ever played....I gotta say its DECO Online (Sorry DECO fans~ XD)

I mean...with all the hype it brought to this forum (what was it..like 40 threads? mine included...lol) the game was a total disaster. Boring gameplay (combo system is interesting at first...then it gets repetitive), lack of quests, slow (in my opinion) rate of grinding...just didn't appeal to me.

So, for ease of reading I'll just say "90% of the current MMOs."

Maple story i found horrible, runescape was fun but the i stepped into the light and realized how awful it was oh god i have a really long list uuuhhh another i would say is Hero online i just did not find it fun at all oh yea and don't forget anarchy online.

A3 Online, though it wasn't that bad.. I've never really played to an awful MMO.

I would have to WoW, since the graphic was just unbearable and the gameplay was the slowest I've ever seen

anarchy online wasn't THAT bad....the only thing I did not like about the game was the fact that you needed to practically read up on the game to just learn the basics of it...so many options and features~ :D

anyways, to take back on what I said earlier, I gotta say..the WORST mmorpg I have ever played was a mmorpg where the customer service sucked, there was barely any activity in the community, and grinding became a turtle~

I have to agree with Lata Runescape has a very different skill system and stuff most games you don't get anything like that so RS is sort of a uiniqe original game......sort of.

It took my brother 8 freaking months to get to level 70- and he is no light user. That's up to 8 hours a day, over the 6 week holidays. And for what? He logs on and there's nothing to freaking do. OH WAIT, THAT'S RIGHT. Now you can grind your fingers off to level 80!

Also, Mixmaster. Built my hopes up with being totally pet-oriented, then shot them straight back down with the time+luck>skill+intelligence line of thinking.

It was like a game that was supposed to be played in a browser, but i t wasn't. You had to download a client >_> It was really weird. u would play AoA for more then 2 hours because it took me 4 hours to finally relize the controls and another 5 minutes to relize it sucks

Every P2P mmorpg except ff11 and perhaps the new conan game(I will wait an pass judgement until after I tried it).

P2P games like WoW sucks more than any other mmorpg IMO because you just get a mediocre gaming experience and actually have to pay for it...
I mean, sure f2p games often suck, but they're free after all, and so I don't care if they suck.. Nobodys forcing me to play them after all, and I have only spendt a small amount of time dl'ing them...

I don't even buy my singleplayer games, so even if they suck, I don't mind...

But WoW? Lineage 2? WoW, L2, PSU, all good games, but not good enough to have me pay for them by a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong shot!

I'd rather eat dung than pay a monthly fee to play a no brainer, no story P2P mmorpg(except ff11 of course, which rocks my boat totally).

....what? That doesn't make any sense at all honestly. WoW has everything runescape has and more. The fact that runescape manages to make combat and tradeskills even more bland than they are in WoW amazes me honestly. WoW has just as many tradeskills as runescape. More character customization. Better pve by far. A much larger world if exploring is your thing. Honestly which has pvp is really up in the air depending on what you like, runescape does let you loot your kills corpse which is really awesome and for some people it will make pvp better by default, but the act of killing another player in WoW is much more entertaining. Now I'm not trying to say WoW is a great mmo I'm just saying it has so much more to do compared to runescape that it's not funny.

It doesn't have to make sense, its an opinion. I like how Runescape does theirs. They may share the same tradeskills but play differently in my eyes.

No really. It sucks =/ For the past 6 hours I was just grinding and trying to find out where the hell some of those quest monsters are. No wonder this thing didn't fare to well P2P wise. Hell it even sucks f2p wise. Is there anything to do there besides grinding? I won't mind if there was something else to do but after killing the same thing over and over again I got bored. The graphics are great and all but nothing else to do..

I found Rappelz and Silkroad more grindy than RF. RFs graphics are good and the game isn't laggy) for some mindless grindin', its pretty fun.

Immortal Fantasy. starting from level one you had to kill 150 monsters to gain one level and it got worse and worse because the TNL went up by an insane amount. It was far worse than MS so when people say that game is grindy I just laugh.

if you are talking about AoA, didn't liked that much, its slow paced, don't have that great animations and too MUCH words it gets confusing everytime

Lol, even the text in that game failed.

SoF's equipment system is what failed the most.

They even failed before the game launched...in the CB they made the epic mistake of showing us how grindy lvl70 would be.

All Kidding a side, I played this game back in it's development stage I thought it was some what rather dull for even in a development stage. Then I give it another shot after the development which was more into the beta and nothing much changed besides monster names and weapon titles. I Give it one last chance since I go by the 1.2.3 book. I was just disappointed, I only kept getting emails from them saying "Please come join our community to help our game grow etc". I think the game was named Terror Gauntlet Online or something like that. But that was just rather boring I only played the game worth an a hour i a half. Yeah I know games always lack something but one development that kept me loving it was the fury alpha testing. Then I come back and to see it totally re don in its beta. It Just blew my mind, How much they improved from alpha to beta. Maps that was in Alpha was no longer there and some was just re-configured and the skills was nicely done to. I still say Fury is a great PVP game just jump in and begin fighting at level one.

I played this game like 2 days and quited,

Id say in part by the over hype, but also by the game itself, Trickster Online is the shittiest game I've ever played.

I think mine was Sword of the New World.
Mostly because every time I ever heard about it, it was like God's gift to gaming, and then I played it... err, wait, you don't really play it. I didn't have to do really anything except tell my people where to move, they did everything else. It reminded me of Dungeon Siege, just prettier graphics. Which is bad, because Dungeon Siege was horrible for basically the same reasons; you don't really have to do anything, all combat was basically automated. Booooooring. :-/

Second would be all those damn L2 rip-offs and third would be Tibia.

WoW's graphic style is actually very unique, just because the Orcs don't look menacing and the undead don't look like actual rotted corpses doesn't mean it deserves to be bashed on in my opinion. Blizzard wanted to retain its style from Warcraft 3 somewhat and they made the characters and such so that players won't have to be worry playing some "really ugly characters"

Scions of Fate - Company only updates premium shop. Enhancing / Enchanting system (upgrading) just sucked.

Dark & Light - It was just a purely sorry game.

Hero Online - For looking like trash and not having alot of anything in it.

Maple Story - a 2d game in a 3d world and a side scroller at that. Enough said.

Dofus -..... I dont know what they where thinking. I played it for a moment and then I figured out wow this is stupid.

WoW - I played for a week with a free trial + payed for a month and quit withing the next week cause it was just so boring didnt see what all the hype was for about the game. In the end I found the game to be really boring.

Nostale - I liked the graphics but the graphics at the same time were alittle to much the gameplay didnt grab me either.

2moons - Quests were boring to me and hack and slash was just boring for me. the pvp was good though

Fiesta - for sounding so great but then being in the OB and seeing how all these features were carried out were not very thought out and was disappointed. So much potential though.

Trickster - I dont like games where everyone looks the same. If I wanted to look the same I would be like everyone else. But im not. That and the character design was alittle fruity for me.

Last Chaos - Grindy as heck ... played for a day or two. Got level 10+ and felt a mad grind already.
